In Japan, graduation, usually happens in March where sakura blossoms, is a very special and important occasion for most, so there is a huge number of songs associating sakura with graduation. In AKB48’s history, there are countless works telling stories of school lives or graduations with “sakura” in the work titles. The graduation song medley includes some of the best and popular ones which brings us back the memories from the excitement during the first day of school to the unforgettable day when we received our graduation certificate and departed with our friends.
