  • When a gas-phase reaction is at equilibrium, the partial pressures of each species in the reaction must have a particular relationship. The equilibrium constant for the reaction is related to the Gibbs free energy change of the reaction.

Could you calculate the K at any T by only substituting T and using △Grxn (standard state)? I thought △Grxn (standard state) is calculated for 273.15 K and 1 bar. Therefore, to calculate K at another T, would you have to calibrate △Grxn (standard state) to △Grxn (T) as well?

Remember that standard state only specifies pressure (1 bar), not temperature. (standard state ≠ STP) So your instinct is right, ΔG° will change with temperature.
