Your guidance is like gold dust. You are good at explaining and demonstrating. I think when people see these skills, they will forget the hours spent perfecting the basics that you already do. tks
I'm in my mid 60s, I'm a roadie, I've not much confidence on an MTB. Your tutorials are like gold dust. You are good at explanation and demonstration. I think when people see these skills they forget all the hours nailing the basics that you have done. The basics are essential and you have to be confident before moving on. Your videos are brilliant. Thanks.
Really good coaching video. 11.01 is me....jumping up and down and nothing happens! I think the practice is so important and easy to ignore when out riding and making the same old mistakes. Thanks for this Ebike series as well there are a lot more eMTB's here now in the UK.
thank you so much for all this great tuition, at 51 I have just got into biking again ,its dark outside but you have made we want to get out immediately and start practicing
Instead of grinding rims… you can buy the grit-compound-particles at hardware stores that people use to mix with paint in order to give stairs/ramps grip. I mix a heavy amount of the grit with a two-part epoxy then paint the rims with the mix. It is basically like having sandpaper/grip-tape on your rims. Also, I use Redline “Likewater” suspension fluid in my brakes.
Thanks for the reminder about brakes over obstacles. I struggle with 2-3ft rocks because I grab all the brakes like its a static hook. I think there is a downside to watching only pros ride big stuff. It creates the impression for us mortals that trials always has to be big moves because thats all we see. I find myself trying to stop and get to the back wheel first to gap things I could have just bunnyhopped.
Front wheel pivot is hard for me for now. It is hard to get use to turning the front wheel and then immediately pivoting the back. I find it easy to turn the front wheel to the same side as the pivot ie: my front wheel turns to the right while the back wheel goes right. Makes me feel like I'll fall over when pivoting the proper way. I'm workin' on it. Great lessons!
Hi Aaron and thank you for your videos. I want to share something that I've just noticed and that i think may be described in an additional way regarding the center of gravity displacement. Hips are aften described as the center of mass to be moved behind the rear axle, and in my case, at least, that information leads to a wrong movement. Desperately trying to move my hips behind that rear axle. But strictly doing that way turns my chest into the new center of mass as i elongate myself over the bike. If it can help I want to add that not only the hips but also the chest have to be moved in the same vector as a same block. Understanding that in addition to your advises unlock that poppy unweight feeling and result. Cheers.
@@SuperRiderTV cool, that you give that reference - it is indeed a great video 🤙 Buuuut, what about the relationship between stem and handlebars on a trial bike, handlebar rise for different types of bikes, handlebar width (I know joy of bike talks about this as well), tire pressures, which are the best budget trials breake setup, etc - som many questions that need a Super Rider's answers to 🦄

All of your content is so awesome. It’s unbelievable that all of this skill and knowledge is free here on RUclips. Thank you 🙏
Thanks so much for watching! I hope it's all helpful!
the thumbnail art for this video is wicked!
Thanks! I got a little help from @portermtb on this one!
This is the best instruction video I've ever seen on the whole internet, thank you.... Greeting from Austria!
Thank you!
Learning the foundational skills first is key!
So important! 🙌

The braking thing is probably one of the top three biggest unlocks for me as a rider. Cristiano Santos taught me and it completely changed my riding!

Right on - it’ll feel more natural with time. You got this!
This is great man, Thanks!
Have fun! Practice makes progress!
Thank you! Your videos are a fantastic resource!

Great call out - thanks for this!
Im gonna try this progression overall, perhaps I will improve
These lessons will definitely give you a strong foundation to build on!
Slow riding drills are very important in off-road motorcycle riding.
Thoughts on E-bike motor response time ? Specialized comes stock at 40% (I think that’s give power and remove power 0.40 seconds after pedaling )
Day 1 of asking for a video about bike fitment across bike types - mtb, bmx, trials - cheers 🤙
There is a great video about this on the Joy Of Bike channel, better than I could explain it :)

18:37 Your feet and pedals are horizontal to the ground. No scoop 🤷♂️
I really need to watch fewer videos and practice more.
