There's a term for when you say a word so many times in a row that it starts to sound like gibberish. It's called Semantic Satiation. Now we both learned something new today! Love these German lessons!!
German is such an interesting language! I’m from Finland myself and I’m starting to learn german at school in autumn! It’s good for me to communicate with my swiss relatives easier, although we speak english together. Also I love the sound of your whisper☺️
I’m Russian and I learning German 9 years in the School, goodluck to you :) 🇷🇺❤️🇫🇮🇩🇪

5:01 red - rot + if you don’t know the alphabet go watch the last german class video (not a threat… hopefully😨)
5:39 pink - pink / rosa (i thought that was a W but it’s pronounced like a K so i wrote that with a K lmk if i’m wrong!! that’s how u mess my brain up 😭)
6:37 recap time!!! gelb, orange, rot, pink/rosa
7:08 purple - lila
7:22 checking up on you

10:41 omg i love rainbows they’re so me
11:06 brown - braun that doesn’t really look like brown but it still is, i mean cheer that pen up a bit at least she tried to do her job 🫶 (yes pens are she/hers)

13:40 get read for the phrases!!!
14:27 how to ask for someone’s name

15:26 WIE HEIßEN SIE? (formal)
16:13 if you wanna ask someone where they’re from you can say:
16:34 WOHER KOMMST DU?

glad to be back doing freckles’ timestamps (i only did twice lmfaoo let me be 😭), i struggled writing the phrases (coming from a different language 😀) so i apologize if i wrote anything wrong hehe that’s also why i wrote in capitals DONT COME @ ME HELPSPJH anyway,,, ily and remember to treat people with kindness :)
Nice thanks! And yes you wrote everything correctly
@@culkithy ok thank you ;)

yea you were right, the k and the / combined i think
I think the "w" is actually a k with a / next to it

I love the German language so much, I think it’s so unique. I took many German classes throughout school, but sadly I barely remember the language, so I love watching videos like this one!!
Ich sag nur Elijello auf die 1 Große😎🤙
keep the german lessons coming! waiting for part 3 on greeting. german couldn't be any easy with your lovely face and soothing sound
At my school, at some point we had to chose between Spanish and German, I was not really sure which one to chose but I decided to study Spanish, I have no regrets about it, but I also think German is a very interesting language !! and i’d like to study it when I have some free time. oh, also I think that the word "Orange" in German, somehow has a similar prononciation as "Orange" in French.
BTW my fav colors are Blau, Schwarz and Lila hehe.
For sure orange comes from French, I agree. And I am susprised to see how Gelb is so near to the latin Galbinus, much more than jaune in French and giallo in Italian. Fully Latin is rosa (latin names of colors were connected to objects that had that color, and rosa is just the flower), which arrived the same to Italian. Maybe lila comes from French too. For sure the color that is more tipically "german" is Blau, as it was used by ancient germanic peoples (Romans didn't use that color, and didn't even have a name for it, if I'm not wrong)
Deutsch lernen ist sehr cool.
My Favorite color is: SCHWERER GUSTAV
There’s two possible ways to pronounce “orange” in German (: and yes she used the one that has a French touch to it

I am learning Deutsch for 2 weeks now, and tbh your good in teaching german language. I hope you continue this kind of ASMR. Aside from falling asleep, I learn new Vocabs also.🤣 Danke!! 🇵🇭
My best friend is german and we met online, ive always wished i took german instead of spanish throughout school so we can communicate in her native langue more. i cant wait to suprize her with the words i learned today!!! hoping for a part 2!!
PLEASE PLEASE KEEP THESE GOING IF YOU WOULD LIKE THIS IS MAKING ME PICKUP HERMAN PRETTY WELL AND I REALLY WANNA LEARN MORE
Very much looking forward to watching and falling asleep to this later today
I forgot you were German, and I’ve started to learn it. So now i can learn more. Ps i love you and your channel!

Swedish is more like English, I think, and even simpler. German is more complex, what with cases and conjugations. Swedish is like, I are/thou are/he are/we are/you are/they are.
I love this video, thank you beautiful AHH sooo relaxing 💜💖💜
you're literally so pretty omg 😭
Hello from Turkey ! 🇹🇷 i’m in high school and our second language is German so thanks a lot 💕
I was in Turkey 4 times, and I will fly in Turkey again on august, love from Russia 🇷🇺❤️🇹🇷

In Spanish we also have that ü, normally the u isn’t pronounced, so when it is you put ü
let me just say, I found your channel cause I was going through a rough night and search for a positive affirmations asmr. I loved the video and it helped me relax and fall asleep, so the next day I went through your channel and found out you had videos teaching basic german which is perfect cause I've been trying to learn german since the end of June. I just love your whispers so much, you're definitely my fave at the moment so I hope you keep posting!! lots of love

Saudações do Brasil 🇧🇷, estou aprendendo várias coisas novas, espero que você continue nos ajudando bjs e ótimo vídeo:)
Its funny the fact that a lot of these colors are written the same way as in spanish and catalan (some in spanish like lila or rosa and in catalan like blau)
This is like maybe the third video i watch of yours..and i'm pretty much amazed and kind of wandering why i did not know about you before. You ARE so good with your spontaneity!
😘😘😘
Meine Lieblingsfarbe ist Lila. Danke für die super Lernvideos! Dadurch berherrsche ich die deutsche Sprache inzwischen durchaus sehr gut.
as a student who took german 6 years ago, i’m proudly saying that i didn’t understand a single word of this 👍👍👍

germans classes sucks in France lmao
French
German classes sucks in Turkey too 😐
And why are you proud again?
@@bobbwc7011 lmao take a deep breathe kiddo i’m just saying that the model of education in France sucks, as a good student, even if i try to learn german, i can’t speak it.
i said « proudly » in an ironic tone so calm down right now lol
How did you learn to speak English or how much did it take? I'm not an English native speaker either but it's very evident that your level is pretty much as good as a native English speaker level, I'm amazed!
I feel like you’re French ? Am I right ?
@@creatixcreatix392 I'm actually from Spain haha, why did you believe I was french?
I think because in germany, we learn English since 2 greade
Honestly I feel like listening to videos like this on is the best it helps with accent, vocabulary, grammar, the format is pretty short so you don’t get tired it’s better than movies. books definitely help with writing grammar and vocabulary as well and it might be easier to remember the vocabulary as well if your memory is more visual. Something I like doing too that might sound silly but talk to yourself in your head or out loud ( helps with prononciation as well ) the idea is that you will be using vocabulary that you use daily which is something you don’t learn in school. So It helps identifying what’s your daily vocabulary, the words that you don’t know in a specific language but that you use on your daily life in your native language like what’s the English for coche for example so you will check on your phone and find car and the next time you will want to talk about your coche you know it’s car.
Hopefully it was clear and it helped!
@@ehrenmann8712 I would say that it depends of the school for example I personally begun learning English in elementary school so I think I was like six years old and I’m French obviously. But some of my classmates in middle school started English at 11 which is the first year of middle school in France. Which sounds extremely late.
very relaxing =) it's such a joy to listen to and watch your content
I studied German as a child and I think I will return to it soon. You helped me make this decision :) Very relaxing video.

There are so many obvious similarities between english and german terms for numbers, colours, days of the week etc.

Me gustó mucho el vídeo!! Estuvo entretenido, como se bastante inglés pude entender lo que decías, la pronunciación es un poco complicada para mí, pero creo que aprendí.
It interests me because the second language taught in Turkey is German. Honestly i think you better than german teachers in Turkey.
That’s so interesting I had know idea is there a specific reason? ( I guess so?)
Definitely would like more of these German lesson videos, I love learning new languages. I am learning French at the moment but would love to start learning German
Yessssss, we want more germany classes 😉🙂😀
THE INTRO LIKE AS SOON AS IT STARTED OMG YES

3:49 Be aware foreigners; she kicks it off with a ***difficult*** word. German is one of the very few languages with a feature called "terminal devoicing".
It means that there is a big discrepancy between spelling and pronunciation if a voiced consonant is at the end of a syllable or at the end of a word.
Essentially, Germans change all the voiced (= "soft", your vocal cords vibrate) consonants into their devoiced (= "hard", your vocal cords do not vibrate) partners.
This includes: b becomes p, d becomes t, g becomes k, s becomes ss/ß, v becomes f.
So, while the color Gelb is spelled with a [b], it is not pronounced as a [b]. It is a [p].
Terminal devoicing is acquired very early on by babies listening to their parents, and most Germans don't even know what it is and are not aware of the fact that they even do it unconsciously all the time. It is a very very tough thing to learn because any non-native speaker sticks out immediately since a missing terminal devoicing is extremely prominent.
And vice versa: For Germans it is very tough to lose it, e.g. when they speak English, and it is one of the key speech patterns of a cliché German accent.
Exceptions apply: Words ending on "-ung" are exempt from terminal devoicing since it is a special ending. And words ending on "-ig" are not pronounced with an [ig] or [ik] sound but with a [ch] sound like in "ich". So, for example, Honig (honey) is [ho:ni-ch], and not [ho:ni-k] or [ho:ni-g].
EDIT: Terminal devoicing does not apply when the consonant is not at the end of a syllable or at the word's end.
This leads to the situation that non-native speakers are permanently confronted with compicated consonant switches, like this:
the wheel = das Rad [r:at] with a [t] sound, however: the wheels = die Räder [rä:der] with a very distinct voiced [d]
the goose = die Gans [ganss] with a sharp [s] sound like a snake, however: the geese = die Gänse [Gä:nse] with a very distinct soft [s] sound like the English [z]. German children associate this sound with the sound bees make [zzzzzz].
ILYSM ✨🧚🏽♂️

As an American trying to learn German, this helped, a lot. And it put me to sleep lol
Your german equivalent of the english pink “rosa” is the same for brazilian portuguese. We say rosa too for pink 😊
thank you so much for this video. this video made me feel a little more excited about camp that I'm going to tomorrow with my class! I just let it come to me and I see everything :) no stress
I haven't used this language for a long time, great 😉
In polish for "wie heißt du" we use "jak się nazywasz", and "nazywać" is also a verb just like "heißen", so it is easier for me to understand.
I love these. please continue with them 😄
also… just a question… in German theres a difference between “rosa” and “pink”, yeah. how do you exactly distinguish those in English? pink is more like hot pink? and lighter pinks are more like rosa? can you say it like that?
yess
Waited for this Video so long 🥰😍
