    SO 12 LBS OF SALMON COSTS $159. THATS APPROX $13 PER LB. HOW DO YOU KEEP IT COLD DURING SHIPPING?? IS IT FROZEN ?

    This looks good! It looks like a fusion of different ethnic foods. Indian or maybe Thai, Greek and Asian? Was that the idea? Also, I keep trying to cook wild sockeye salmon because my doctor told me it was much better for my health than farm raises Atlantic salmon. Trying to fight some major inflammation in my body. However, no matter how I’ve cooked it (pan seared, oven, grilled), sockeye seems so bland and dry to me. Any tips?

    How long did you cook the salmon on each side?

    brilliant mate, you pan fried the salmon perfectly, but why are you serving the salmon skin side down? This lovely crispy skin will soak up all the moisture and lose it's crispiness
    Cheers

      mnaughty n/a Served immediately the skin will still be crispy. I wanted to show off the beautiful colour of the salmon... thanks

Keep up your excellent work mate - you're much better and more creative than most of these 'fancy' food channels on RUclips ... hope I didn't offend anyone J And most importantly - you're chatting with your subscribers from time to time. Love it J

    Is it just me or is wild caught salmon dry, even if you don't over cook it?

    • @stevescooking
      @stevescooking  2 года назад +2

      It has a different texture to farmed salmon, also has more fat than wild making farmed more easier to cook than wild. Wild has less fat, so it’s a bit more tricky to cook and can easily dry out if your not careful

      This is what put me off from eating it initially, but when cooked right it tastes great and you really feel the difference between wild and farm.
