    where can I find all this families, can yo send it to me ?

    • @h9hgstudio
      @h9hgstudio  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, this is the popular method that I would share to everyone. So all families is default when you install Revit. You could load them from the default family according to when you setup the software. Infor to you.

      the "US metric" families seem to have been used, my localized version does not come with those- but you can download everything and the new "load Autodesk family" can also give them to you- but you have to change your country in the search menu

    Have you ever ran into a the problem where you can't unpin the point cloud. I tested a blk360 and once I imported the .lgs file, I was unable to rotate and or move it. Even the dealer tech support representative didn't know how to resolve the issue.
    Thanks!

    • @h9hgstudio

      Yes. The best way you need to convert them into RCP, RCS extension by recap before importing them into revit. It is the best extension for working with piontcloud in Revit.

    Congrats! Very useful video!
    Could you help me with a problem envolving Point Cloud?
    I am trying to send a Revit project (version 2020) to a client that requires the file itself beyond the plans and sections.
    The project has a linked Point Cloud, which must be visible in the model when the client opens it.
    To make this possible, I copied the Point Cloud (.rcp file) into the following path:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Revit Shared
    Thus, in theory, anyone who copies the same Point Cloud to this folder would be able to view it. The problem is that it didn't work. My partner tried to open the file on his computer after doing the same steps and the Point Cloud isn't there. He checked the visibility settings and the .rcp filme supposed to be activate there, but it failed.
    How can I solve this? Thanks!

      You could ask your clients and open manage tab in revit. After that them could relink the data everywhere that you save as. In my video has this. Thank you for your watching.
