An amazing course! Having been stationed in Hawaii for 5 years and seen lots of beautiful courses. This is an experience for sure!
I was lucky enough to play here 2 years ago in a pro am qualifier, loved every minute of it, the greens were running really quick could easily make you look a fool. East Lothian is definitely my favourite place to play golf.
You need to get up and experience Skibo castle next 👍
Yes tough greens and East Lothian is also my favourite place Gary, would love to get the chance at Skibo
I’ve walked over parts of this course and the neighbouring Archerfield - great area for golf. Entertaining vlogs with you and average pro. I let the wife accompany me on occasions which is a bit like having a caddy but my view is always wrong!!
Amazing video Andy!!! Your stuff at the moment is brilliant. You and Louis are great together. Keep it up 👍⛳
Thank you Neil
My friend I was smiling the entire time. What a stunning experience, on an amazing course with stunning surroundings. The caddy did not know, but I was right next to him on that golf cart. Thank you again for sharing this with us all. Cheers to you both.
So glad you were able to enjoy our experience
Wow!!! Thanks again for a great Golf adventure. You were smiling the whole time.
Yes not like me
The best RUclips video I have seen in a long time. Pure class Andy
Simon Tasker made my day that comment Simon, it’s my personal favourite that I have filmed so far
Been there last two years putting the cabins in for the Scottish open
What a place indeed! A must go place!
It is a bucket list job
Really enjoyed it all Andy, definitely looks like an amazing experience.
Thanks and yes it was
You matched the music so well with the romance of playing golf in such a special location, though I was expecting some beautiful and mystical lady to make her way in slow motion across the fairway towards you and Louis.
She appeared later that night.....
Great video as ever Andy! That place looks amazing
Thanks Rich
Pure mate ! Stunning edit stunning course mate !
Thank you
Good stuff as always 👍🏻
In most Asia golf have Caddie to hire & buggies with GPS or Tracker
Yes not as available in UK, thxs for wathcing
Looks like a great experience
Brian Treadwell sure was Brian you would love it
I have to agree with Neil Clapperton - your golf has really improved and perhaps Louis is the main reason for this.Keep it coming Andy and please never change your brilliant demeanour. You really are Mr Nice Guy.
Appreciate those comments Bob, golf is still variable Bob and to be honest not a concern of mine, maybe that works!
Get a room boys. That’s the most homoerotic golf video I’ve ever seen! “Ooohhh...what a touch....Ooohh...I love it!” 😂 Looks like an amazing place, keep up the good work 👍🏻
Thats the angle I was going for......Homoerotic golf....niche genre
I thought Rick and Pete already had that market monopolised? 😂
@@paulh1529 🤣🤣👍
Andy, you should have got your butler to open the gate pal ! It looks fantastic, looks like you both had a great day. Nice Ace Cam ref, Erik and Finch have both played this course and every time it looks amazing. This is a great vid and it looks like you played well.
Awesome experience from start to finish
love these videos
Just listened to “ A course called Scotland” by Tom Coyne, he was fortunate to savour something similar ( ok , ridiculously exclusive !) at Skibo Castle - Carnegie Club . This looks more affordable but still very special. Great post .
Yes I believe Skibo Castle is something special as was Renaisssance
What a great place and way to play golf! Stunning looking course and a great experience, one on my list to visit and play.
Where you playing mainly with the mini original driver Andy ?
Gorgeous pace and yes mainly the mini driver from tee
Looks amazing that guys thank u

Andy i couldnt agree more with some of the comments...this is another awesome video. Makes me homesick...not that i will playing courses anything like this but theres just something about golf in Scotland.
Great footage of the course and the golf was not bad either. Thank you...
Really appreciate that Peter and yes golf in Scotland is magical
First of all, superb filming and great music.
Un rushed and un pressured along with some good golf, carlsberg don't do golf rounds.............👍👍
Thank Ken
One word Andy...Wow!😍

For mm its was Pebble Beach with my sons walking with caddies was really special
Would love to do that someday Steven
Believe me! It's torture to be so close to such a incredible Place but unable to play it-lucky sods!
haha so true Colin
Great content 👍
Thank you
Great course but how long did it take us to get the open back to royal portrush would be. A long time before an other got on I think 🤔
Yes agreed but think it has the quality
No dobut top quality indeed good shout but im quite bias toward our very own royal co down and royal port rush lol
@@wayneross8544 and why Not, those 2 courses are top draw

What a special place
It really is Steven
Its a yes from me!⛳🏆

Is it a Links or Parkland? That would answer your title question....
??
I will be there on the Thursday for the Scottish Open
Enjoy Peter, I am interested to see how they play it
@@TheAverageGolfer cheers Andy so am I what a great looking course as you well know there are so many in that area did you stay at Craiglaw?
@@peterlund6495 stayed in Duck mate
@@TheAverageGolfer I thought you may have when you left in the video next time stay at Craiglaw and play there and Kilspindly
What a great looking course and fantastic experience to play and be looked after. Who's the idiot that's thumbed down?
Paul Bear it was amazing Paul
The presence of Danny MacCaddy would terrify the life out of me. I’d probably duff every second shot, or go in a direction unrecommended ... Perhaps the stunning visuals would ease my unease. It really is very beautiful.
I thought that at first but it added a lot to the experience
Looks a nice course.......hope you did it justice!
we tried
Andy, Great video looks like a really great experience. Just a slight suggestion when playing background music don't have it playing when there is conversation at the start of the video i missed some of what the caddy said because of the music.
Thanks Rob
great v;og im there for the scottish open, know any cheap courses in the area, we cant afford the same as you🤪
Gullane course 3, about £40 a round midweek.
Thanks Steven, thought it was a lot more but will check it out cheers
How you finding the mini driver?? Can’t get enough of mine has changed the game for me.
Yes loving it, I have a bad shot in me but lots of confidence with the shorter shaft
Sad to see golf carts becoming common place on UK courses. Golf was meant to be walked. Great video though Andy.
So your view is that people who can no longer walk the full 18 holes (or at least 9) should not be allowed to play golf courses? What about seniors who have suffered strokes, the disabled etc. ? Your view is wrong.
Justin Stephenson Absolutely no problem with seniors or disabled people using carts. Believe me, before I left the UK 20 years ago I used to play with plenty of men in their late 60’s and 70’s who walked 18 just using Powerkaddy’s. Just sad to see able bodied people not taking advantage of the exercise opportunity. And we wonder why there is a growing obesity problem.
the only reason a buggy was used was to carry camera kit, no other buggies on course
@@slalomdude68 The only time I ever use a buggy is when filming to carry kit......my obesity problem is down to the Colonels secret recipe
The Average Golfer LOL, yeah I get it when You Tubers use one for filming, my comment was more about what I have seen as trend in golf. Many resort type courses force it on people as a way to make more $$$$.
Hard to beat the Colonels recipe, I well remember stumbling from the Fun Pub to the KFC in the Ferry before making the long assent of the Hawarden hill ! Loving the content at the moment, keep it up.
change your name to the happy golfer lol
yes I was smiling almost
