C'mon, I play blues and these boys (and girls) got it! Couldn't be better with Elvis giving tips! Just making good rendition of a well chosen song with your family no less - heaven.
I just discovered you folks. I watched a bunch of videos and it's great to see the rapid improvement in your daughter playing bass. She's fearless and fun to watch.
Thank you so much for watching, yes she is getting really good now , we see improvement daily in her playing, its what she wants to do when she grows up
@@Durberville1 If you don't already have it, pick up the Standing in the Shadows of Motown book. It has transcriptions of lots of great James Jamerson basslines along with a CD of famous bass players covering these songs. It's a great history of those wonderful, unheralded musicians that played on Motown in the 60s, but is focused on Jamerson. Also show her the documentary of the same name. It's on Amazon Prime Video I believe. Jamerson is a great source of inspiration as are Carol Kaye, Jaco, McCartney of course, Chuck Rainey, Andy Rourke etc.
Elvis, The King
