Thanks a lot for the video… Osprey seems to me an offshore company with no licence with any regulatory body… do you see it as a risk to the investment? I am very much interested to open an account with them as the Sevices they are offering are great, however just because I couldn’t find any regulatory information on their website making me sceptical. Would appreciate your guidance please.

what are spreads on forex majors and minor on challenge account?

When moving BTC to/from their own wallet, is there a gas fee? Ex: I deposit BTC (gas fee), I move it to MT (gas fee), I move it out of MT (gas fee), then send back to my own wallet (gas fee), then cash out at my exchange (gas fee). Does this look correct? Seems pretty expensive?
10% target, higher pricing and additional consistency rules are an extra hurdle to being funded meaning that this challenge becomes one of the hardest and most expensive challenges to pass in the industry. Even some of the best traders in the world who are profitable cannot guarantee consistency especially in erratic trading conditions. This prop fund if definitely not recommended for beginners traders. There is a glimmer of hope for this prop firm if they increase the initial trading days from 30 days to 60 days to make consistency measures more reasonable and give better value for the higher price.
All true statements, yet I still managed to pass that uphill battle. Passed both the challenge and verification in 6 weeks total. Once I finished they found a random reason to deny me a funded account, despite the dashboard confirming that all phases were successfully complete. Unbelievable.
Thanks for this video! The more I see stories about excellent traders trying prop firms, the more I tend to thing the model is designed to be a business for them, not for excellent traders. What’s your view on that?
If the trader can pass the challenge then its great for them. These firms offer the chance to trade more capital than would be possible for most people. They are not easy to pass though.
There are far better deals out there, things I don't like is the scale up model, their analysists raking over your account possibly finding an excuse to penalise your hard work, and the 10 day trading rule, I only trade 5 pairs max, and often there is no opportunity within my trade plan available for days. Thanks for the review though.
I just saw the trade idea you shared on telegram and I have a comment on USDCAD .... I found it violating the uptrend on the 4hr chart and started a nice downtrend and i went short when it spiked up few hours ago but when you went long i wanted to know the reasons of your trade and the idea behind it
The annotations I put on the chart are some of the reasons.
They scammed me. I completed the 200k challenge but they never gave me my funded account. All I got was a $1000 bonus and entry fee refund. They won’t return my emails anymore.

I got to know about prop firms a few weeks ago. They seem to be made for beginner traders who are willing to learn and have little or no capital to start with like me. But this prop firms funding seems very small compared to others who go up to over $2 million.

Doesn't matter if they do or not. You'll need to report income to the IRS, & they will find out when you get audited by looking at your bank statements.
All other prop firms outperforms this firm from all perspectives. So why would I sign up with them>

I'm very confused. You pay money and they might reject you even if you do everything right and you lose your money. Seems a bit scammy.
Yeah since making this video I have tried a few different prop firms, I prefer the 5ers - they are very supportive 🙏
Hmm, 10% for four consecutive months. That's 46.41% in four months. Good luck with that. If you can consistently trade that profitably, even assuming a losing month every 5th month in which you lost 11% and immediately rebounded the following month, you could run a $5K account up to $10,797 in 12 months, a return of 115%, and Ray Dalio would be beating your door down. In the real world, one might be able to accomplish that once every year or so, but the overwhelming odds are that Osprey will seldom have to grapple with the burden of paying 70% to too many people for very long, if ever. Sorry to be so negative, Emily, but this feels like a marketing scam to get people to open brokerage accounts.

Hi Emily, please don't do reviews on things you haven't personally tried. Just reading information off their website doesn't help anyone. I passed Osprey's 100k challenge AND verification on my second attempt. Got the congratulations email, entry fee refunded, 1k bonus etc. The dashboard showed that the challenge was passed with flying colors. Later they emailed back, finding an undeclared rule or technicality, which they claim prevents me from being funded. Very frustrating that they did this after a few months of trading. This has scam written all over it. The broker itself has been around for 4+ years, and is reputable. Their prop firm side of the business is new, and not trustworthy. It's fair to let your viewers know.

That has happened to a bunch of people who actually attempted their funded account where they have apparently picked up on a problem and that they aren't able to fund the account has a result so you're correct about this and I probably would also advise against using them.
@@MindfullyTrading they freeze accounts often and you are not able to close your trades and they will hit your SL after increasing spreads ( no news whatsoever). It’s a scam reported by many. Their live help sucks. FTMO, MFF are the best
