I think that most people who complain about the game to ruin its reputation dont actually care about the game and genuinely hate it :) Saying things like 'the graphics aren't the same' isnt ruining anything though, since majority of games that are advertised with good animation do not have the same graphics as the animation because that's actually impossible unless it's a story-based game.

There's at LEAST two elements being done here for animation, the character animation are being done in mostly 2D, and the environments MIGHT be 3D, or a mix of 3D and painted pieces. They likely use a LOT of software for animating those and then even more to add effects and composite them. Riot(the creators) are working with entire huge teams of some brilliant and skilled artists on these projects, and the games look different for the most part, but usually have skins that relate to these promotional releases. I highly recommend their other promo vids if you enjoyed this, theyre a huge visual treat.

Animation is just a LOT of photo editing/video editing with, in this case, drawings on top. An animation is just string of images played so fast it looks like a video. Wouldn't you agree?
Thats the point of the video, to react... Even if they stop it second by second well thats how they express their reactions. They breaking down and analyse bit by bit.
