low fps is beneficial for melee users, i rememeber my friend running in 1.6 april fools with eradicator capped at 60 fps just so he had less stamina usage, he was getting like 300 fps back then normally but locked his fps to get an advantage about the "spray pattern" thing, with lower, unstable fps, you have more *horizontal* recoil with weapons which makes it hard to shoot someone from far away, sure, at close range it doesn't matter but its really uncontrollable at about 100+ studs, it just goes to the left and right however it wants its not that bad on m4a1, but try the same thing with ump and you'll clearly see the difference it also makes mac-10 unusable due to the horizontal recoil tbh i've been also having massive fps drops since winter came out earlier having 150 fps easily now struggling to keep a stable 80 fps, it drops to 50 AND LOWER all the time even though i have a quite good pc, it makes the game really uncomfortable to play because i was used to high fps

Yeah exactly after the winter my fps dropped exactly like you idk what the try added to the game but it cooked our fps it would be nice if they add “potato pc mode” in the settings to reduce quality for fps
