I love how the visuals support the message of the song. All these liminal spaces creating a slightly uncomfortable and surreal atmosphere, the strong neon green and red providing unnatural accents. And all the slime and splatter patterns. The visuals alone are somewhere between sexy, weird, intriguing and .. icky. An innuendo in themselves.
I love the take of the visuals being an innuendo of themselves! It also kinda gave me alice in wonderland vibes with the crazy patterns and the walls moving.

Honestly, You In Me is the Kill Bill of Kpop 😂 But it's more about a dead relationship and the delusion of not accepting it, they are not letting it go. I think they talked about this... They didn't kill the boys? The boys mostly represent how dead the toxic relationship makes them inside and how they are not present in it. One of the lines say "Why you push me away?" So yeah... When you say they are delusional and living in the past, yes. That's exactly what they are doing.

it is true that in the colorful and charming world of kpop it is rare to see productions of this nature, even if there are a certain number of them. say that depending on the generation, the production is more or less dark. the second generation had a lot of quite dark MV's, groups like VIXX, B.AP, INFINITE, Brown eye girls, Cross gene even BTOB had songs that talked about depression, suicide or death. the new generation is above all in the Era attitude, a rebel generation that seeks to be cool and wild.
just saying - VIXX, B.A.P, Cross Gene, & BTOB are 3rd gen. 2nd gen however had quite a lot of colorful MVs. 3rd gen was when groups began being more open about dark subjects in their comebacks.
