Being a math teacher , I feel this trick is mind-blowing.. mostly it is useful when you are not able to split the middle term.
It may take a little more time after 10 seconds. But its easier than other tricks. Thank you mam❤️❤️

It can also be done easily as we know how to find difference of two numbers when we know their sum and product. So by adding sum and difference we can easily find their roots🥰🥰🥰🥰

@@Jasmeeeet use the power of x that is x^2 as square root and then sq root of 289=17 divided by sq root of 16 = 4 and then put 17/4 in place of x and solve
How 17 will come the answer will come 16 and root of it is 4

In the above equation first we have to find sum of roots and product of roots.
Sum of roots (S)= -(-3)/2 = 3/2
Product of roots (P)= -20/2 = -10
Then write a equation of the form as given in mam's method:
(S/2+x)(S/2-x)=P
=(3/4+x)(3/4-x)=-10
Using (a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2
= 9/16-x^2= -10
Solving this we get two values of x :
x=+13/4 and x=-13/4
Now putting any one of these value in
(3/4+x) and (3/4-x) we get the roots as:
3/4+13/4=4 and
3/4-13/4=-10/4=-5/2
Roots are 4 and -5/2
You can also verify the result by using middle term splitting method.
Thsi is harder than usual 🤣
Normal method is way faster for beginners 😔😔
