I’ve seen a lot of guitar solos on RUclips, but I have never EVER seen anyone put that much feel into each and every one of their guitar solos, Dave you’re probably one of the most talented guitarists on RUclips I wish more people knew about this channel

I absolutely loved your playing! You put the Telecaster through it's paces! So many reviewers just talk and skip in depth playing. Loved it! I bought a Classic Vibe Telecaster thinline 60's model a couple of weeks ago and I love it.

Squiers are so so so good these days. Perfect for playing completely stock or using the money you would have spent on a Fender/American-made to experiment with different pickups or amps.

I recently picked up a Classic Vibe Mustang, it's one of the new 2019 models with a bone nut and narrow tall frets. It is by far the best guitar I have ever played and that includes PRS SE models. The quality of the finish and the sound are out of this world.

I bought one of these in 2010 I think. It's been one of my main players ever since, no mods needed. Came ready to play right out of the box and has been rock solid ever since.
    Total workhorse guitar.

I'd be kinda hoping my friend didn't like it! Even though I try not to, I've found myself a victim of being a "Brand Snob"! I've owned a couple of Squier strats & teles that are by far better than a MIM of anything else of that price range! Not to mention if you get something like an 80s MIJ or MIK Squier, you'd know exactly what i talking about! Of course I sold them & replaced for Fenders that weren't half as good!😢
In short, the best instrument isn't always the most expensive!
Great demo, be safe & keep rocking Dave!🎸😷

I have that guitar and love it. Changed the knobs, pots, switch and to brass compensated saddles but kept the pickups. I'd bought a set of Baja pickups off ebay when I ordered the guitar but never got around to putting them in because I like the ones that came with it. I put it an Stew Mac 5-way Super Switch and it plays and sounds amazing. People that don't know about guitars think it's my poshest Sunday Driver guitar, which is funny.
Warning to anyone looking for one. Mine has an ugly twist in the grain on the neck. I bought it online and figured they didn't put really nice wood on the Squiers so I lived with it. Don't assume you'll get one as pretty as Dave's. The neck FEELS amazing though. The fretboard on mine was listed as laurel wood. The original knobs were chrome looking plastic. The truss rod nut is very soft so use the right size allen wrench to adjust and be gentle.

I own this same model plus the 50s version in butterscotch blonde. I was going to a jam with people that I replied to in an advert for a band seeking a guitarist and I brought along the squire tele. When I got there they refused to jam because they wanted someone with American made fenders and other higher quality guitars. They never gave me a chance because they were brand snobs. Those classic vibe guitars are really awesome and could easily be compared to some real fenders. Too bad they didn't give me a chance because the guitar sounds great!!

I remember looking at those original Customs in Old Hat, one was a 8/10 condition 1962 which was very light with brown/maroon edges, the other a re-finned 1960, i fell for the 62, it was so resonant it sounded like a thinline acoustically. Got some pictures of them. I then went straight down to Boston Roadhouse music and bought a Squier Classic vibe custom and the feel was very similar.

It's a 62 Custom Telecaster. A Telecaster Custom has the two volume and two tone knobs, different shape pick guard and bridge PU. Yeap, can be very confusing and we have not even mentioned Custom Shop yet lol.
Funny. I just purchased a Fender Japan Reissue 62 Custom Telecaster last week as a Birthday present for myself (I was born in 62). I have been after one of these bad boys for well over a year now and finally found one at a good price.
On Ebay they tend to be about £750 to £1100. I prefer the MIJ to MIA. Every single MIJ guitar I have ever had has been amazing. Just as good, if not better than American built guitars.

Squiers are great guitars. I'm glad you're not like the other youtubers who talk down on this guitar for being referred to as a "beginner guitar". It is only referred to that due to it's price point. People starting out usually never learn to play guitar and the guitar ends up in their closet collecting dust. So its better to have wasted $120 as opposed to more. Great playing

And you make it sing Dave. I'm so glad I found this video. Out of everyone I woulda wanted to sell it to me. Its be you hahaha. Your a great salesman Dave! And you dont even have to talk. Just play! 🤣

I think it would great and most informative if you were to list all the pedals and gadgets in your signal chain before hitting the Amp and use if send / return configurations. Awesome as always - thanks ever do much for making time for us less than worthy not yet masters of the sonic axe. 🙃😲🙂🎸

I had that exact guitar. Can’t keep em all but it was fabulous. I did a electro socket mod and changed the bridge plate to a USA reissue. Nothing else needed. Electronics, tuners, saddles all top Nick! You just doubled the price on these LOL. Cheers

That's so strange, I picked up one of these just last month.. I was hoping to upgrade it to CTS pots and maybe some fender pickups but I just love the sound of it so much as it is!

I upgraded my classic vibe custom with the Seymour vintage tele bridge pickup and it's better and a bit more powerful but the stock pickups are still great!

One off the greatest pieces on a guitar I heard. The build up and afterwards the serenety. Liek story tellng. Just Superb. Thank you.

Check your pawn shops and used sites, I got mine (classic vibes custom) just like the one Dave's playing, same year and everything for $180 out the door at a pawn shop here in the states so look around !
Also these are kinda hard to find used here as they are great guitars and people usually don't want to sell their classic vibe as the price isn't usually worth selling at the priced .
