That one I’m not sure of. Sorry. It’s basically a piggyback of harnesses to the original one. I would assume it should work. Same with option of Bose systems for the SUV’s and trucks.
Yeah, they learned a reset button is necessary. I have an older non-Bluetooth version that often when the battery is disconnected for service, the radio goes into theft/safety mode, requiring me to take the dash apart to unplug the isimple device and plug it all back in to make it work again. That’s a PITA, but with a reset button installed, I might like it. I’d love to upgrade to one of these so I can get rid of my external Bluetooth adaptor and all the rca jacks and wiring hanging out of my dash.
Would this or a similar device work with a monsoon speaker system?

I would love something like this but they dont make it anymore...
does it work with 2012 chevy malibu
I don’t think it will. That is the generation after, so the stereo harness will be different
Please tell me you replaced those household (non-automotive) wire nuts with butt splices
Yes I did. It was a mess. Lol
Do you know of those I’ll work with a Bose factory unit 2003 suburban ?
It should. I know my truck is a base model but I notice it piggybacks from the XM box.
You still using it today. Bout to buy one
Yea I am it works pretty well. I have the non Nav stereo which had problems in the past but none with my option.
@@mdjcomps cool I have the same radio as you. I have a 2004 2500hd, were you saying the nav units have more issues, or the non nav has more issues.
What's all the switches and red button's for?
I never check for the dip switches but for the red button it’s a reset button.
Good job glad you made this video haven't had mine hooked up for months couldn't get any help from isimpleton
No problem I wish I had a camera man
Do factory door chimes still work?
Yes completely original chime from the stereo itself.
Hey which model is this, I have 2011 chevy traverse and where did you order it from?
Hope it worked better than the AUDIO IN THIS VIDEO!!
It’s pretty clear Audio coming from the isimple device
Is there an equivalent for android devices? Also, are there any requirements for the vehicle?
No requirements just as long as everything is stock starting with the radio.
@@mdjcomps based
Does your steering wheel controls still work????
Yes fully functional. It piggy backs on to the stock harness and has the pin for the redundancy for the controls.
How often do you need to use the reset button? Thanks
Is it still good?
yes it is. did you purchase one of these?
MDJ Computing I am looking for options and this was one of them. thank you.
MDJ Computing to be clear it uses the same Bose speakers inside the vehicle?
Aftre 6 years mine went bad and was keeping my car from starting. It was in a 2005 suburban with a navigation head unit.
Well that’s not good I’ll keep that in mind
does the GM radio have to have XM radio for this to work?
Dave Mora no it totally works after you selected the “bands” button a couple of times.
What was the red button for?
I think It may have something to do with the bluetooth
michael priestman it's a reset
