@@Guruguru-nl8bs the justice league that came out a few years ago only had about 20 minutes from this new version which is going to be 4 hours long and rated R so it’s wayyy different. And yeah it’ll have it’s darker moments of course but it’s supposedly going to be the most hopeful of the trilogy so I wouldn’t be too worried. It won’t have a ton of jokes but it also won’t be brutally depressing

Being four hours long is not going to do this ANY favours. They should have gone the route of splitting it into 3-4 parts so people would break it up into natural chunks. People would respond better too because they won't feel obliged to slog through it in one sitting.

Well, from other CBM cinematic universes. Since Snyder began the DC Films CU, every hero in every film has their theme, & every theme is memorable. Every score is a character in and of itself. That started with Snyder, or was at least set in stone with Snyder, & with him at the center again, it will be one of his greatest legacies in the DC Films CU. :,)
As I am listening to this, it suddenly hit me... it doesn't matter how this film turns out. This film isn't about critical reception anymore. It doesn't matter if this film doesn't work. ZACK SNYDER and all the fans who supported this movement have already WON! The film being released is the WIN! Suicide prevention and raising awareness is the WIN! Giving jobs during the pandemic so that people can put food on their table is the WIN! Watching it on HBO MAX is like the PARTY! It doesn't matter how the party turns out, its purpose is just for CELEBRATION! You can see how this film is marketed, the posters, the flags, its a symbol of how people from across the world, UNITED, so that JUSTICE is served. But this is just the beginning...

One thing I really miss about old DC movies is their memorable soundtracks. Ever since they fired Snyder, I can't recall a single track from their movies, except for WW's theme (which ironically was created for BvS lol). The Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel, BvS all had amazing soundtracks. And it sounds like ZSJL will too

Dude, he helped Zimmer compose the score for Dawn of Justice, plus he did the score for one of only 3 Superhero movies released last year, which was Sonic the Hedgehog
I'd argue Danny Elfman, because of his contribution to Batman and Spider-Man. However, I understand his faults, but even Zimmer has composed some "not great" scores as well [TASM2 and Dark Phoenix).

First, Elfman's score contained his Batman theme, so you couldn't be more wrong. Second, this is easily as lackluster and forgettable as the rest of Elfman's score. Which is hardly surprising, since this came from the GroupThink NoiseSound Club otherwise known as Remote Control.

Say what you will about his direction, but Zack's sense of visuals and music is unmatched, specially when we talk about modern superhero movies (after christopher Nolan's series). BVS soundtrack was awesome, so was MOS's.

This is NOT just a movie, for me this is way more than it, a light in the dark times. Zack's vision on DC and it's character personally gives me alot of strength during this dark phase of my life. I am very happy to be alive.

i dont get why these haters are pressed over JL's snyder cut. you are not forced to watch it, why bother bashing if you are not interested with the movie at all. this new version is like a gift to us DC fans. the original movie may be bad, but for me, who grew up with Dc comics, it was a dream come true to watch my childhood heroes together. in the big screen. again, if you hate this, then dont watch. simple as that.
i love both Marvel and DC. seeing marvel fans trash talk dc and dc fans trash talk marvel makes me sad because I feel like it is my curse to love both sides. i can never understand why would anyone pick one over another when they can have both. picture marvel as a $20 bill and Dc as a $20 bill. I hope HBO Max and DC continue to do Zack Snyder's DCEU with a Ben Afflack Batman movie and another Justice League 2 and much more! With Zack Snyder directing and Tom/Hans composing the music.

Danny Elfman is a legend but his JL score was a misfire. This is what I needed.

One thing I really miss about old DC movies is their memorable soundtracks. Ever since they fired Snyder, I can't recall a single track from their movies, except for WW's theme (which ironically was created for BvS lol). The Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel, BvS all had amazing soundtracks. And it sounds like ZSJL will too

I'd argue Danny Elfman, because of his contribution to Batman and Spider-Man. However, I understand his faults, but even Zimmer has composed some "not great" scores as well [TASM2 and Dark Phoenix).

This single piece of music is better than the entire Elfman soundtrack. I'm a great fan of Elfman's work, but his JL was not his brightest moment.

Elfman's score for Josstice League was totally lazy and generic.
First, Elfman's score contained his Batman theme, so you couldn't be more wrong. Second, this is easily as lackluster and forgettable as the rest of Elfman's score. Which is hardly surprising, since this came from the GroupThink NoiseSound Club otherwise known as Remote Control.
Yeah, the Batman theme is great, specially when it's on the correct movie. This is not the correct one, though.
He made the soundtrack the studio wanted.
