Yeah she's been incredibly supportive in this battle of mine - so important to be open and honest, and to be calm and compassionate. To be on the same team and keep a safe place to fight this battle together as one. Very blessed by Kian for her love for God and for me 🙌

Absolutely - hard thing to admit, but like you're saying, it's so important to be open about it. When this stuff happens, even if it's "such a small thing", we need to be humble enough to confess our sins and repent of it as much as possible. That's the only way to receive true healing and freedom from the Lord 🙏

Some months he is doing amazing, and other times it’s a lot harder on him. As a wife, is there any advice you can give on bringing it up with my spouse when i notice it a lot more than usual? I always try to be gentle about the topic due to how vulnerable it is; but it often leads by husband to feeling a lot of shame which is NOT what i want.

And i’m NOT saying that modesty is the cure all but, just knowing that your modesty can help someone not to stumble helps, even if it’s only a little!! that’s just my two cents lol🙂 Romans 14:13, 15, 19 and 21(ESV) 13- "Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother." 15- "For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. For us in the States, I think it depends on where you live. When I was in the heat and humidity of North Carolina, I showered once or twice a day. Here in Upstate NY where it's often cool and cloudy, and dry air in the winter, I sometimes only shower every other day. I work in an office environment, so showing every day has actually been harmful for my skin.
For me it depends on what I was doing. If I've worked out, gone swimming or been out side on a hot day. I make sure I do but if I've been inside doing things that don't make me sweat or get dirty. I don't feel the need to.
Love the honesty as always ❤️! It is really sad that society trains women to dress like prostitutes nowadays. I am sure it does not help Christian guys to maintain pure thoughts. I really pray that God will help all of us, whether male or female, to both dress as modestly as we can and control our thoughts 🙏. As a girl who used to struggle with lust, I can say that what personally helped me the most was to meditate on Scripture and always have a verse that I can quote and think about during the day so that there is no room for any evil thought.

Yeah honestly it isn't that men just look more but women dress way more revealing on average. It's like if 1 in 4 men just took off their shirts and were in public then you'd notice a spark in women's lust. I think it would be good if (christian) men educate themselves on the female body including menstrual cycles. It doesn’t have to be a mystery and it would help both parties a lot to navigate through that. There are so many simple resources out there that will take you through understanding the topic within minutes of time, such as TikTok or RUclips for example.
