If you would like to learn more about this area and the Shawnee Indians check out this book that Jeremy Metzger suggest as a good read it explains the name Chillicothe Frontiersman By Allen Ekert: amzn.to/3RzQktH

Really cool area to hunt! Chillicothe was kind of the capital of the Shawnee. I believe it moved several times as it was attacked by the early settlers. Birthplace of Tecumseh. Check out Allen Ekert’s book the Frontiersman. There is a lot of information in it about that area. Some true and some fictional.

I looked it up it says it was called Chillicothe because the principal leader lived there so if he died the place where the new leader lives would be called Chillicothe thanks for the info that explains why there are so many other places called Chillicothe. back then.

Google maps wasn’t available until 2005 so you couldn’t of looked on google maps back to 1984. Also I don’t know the history of your area but you contradict yourself several times. 😂
