Basel zoo Switzerland. A beautiful place to spend the whole day in wilderness. Basel zoo has many animals from Penguins to Kangaroos, lions to Elephants etc.
Basel Zoo is a zoological garden in Basel and is situated in the Basel-Bachletten district. It is the oldest zoo in Switzerland (opened in 1874).
One Saturday Morning se Visited Basel ZOO, We very much enjoyed our visit. With elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions and giraffes, the zoo had pretty much all you want to see, with perhaps the exception of Tigers. The enclosures are brilliant (large indoor and outdoor viewing areas), and it was not too crowded.
