Your review is thorough, and I love that. It gives a very good idea about the patterns and the soul of the book. Thanks!

@@starlightandstitches Wendy Stanbury channel. I bought Unicorns, dragons and more fantasy amigurumi after watching your review. Just couldn't resist it, the book is so gorgeous. Actually there is also part 2 of this book full of adorable projects.

These walk throughs are so helpful ❤ I haven't tried amigurumi yet but I'm feeling more confident I could do it. I recently made a rainbow that was pretty simple and satisfying (just a circle folded in half and stitched together)

That’s a great start! Once you get going it really does all start to make sense- I’d suggest following a RUclips tutorial first (something like ami amour) and the you can see someone doing it with you. You’ll have to let me know if you do!

Hello, instead of using Dowling rods, I have used Garden sticks & Pipe Cleaners if they need to be posable 😋💕 Erica x

Another great review Alice. I own both of those books. I buy a lot of my crochet books on EBay as I get them a quite a bit cheaper.

Hi!! It’s so lovely to have you here and thanks for your lovely comment!
I am a big fan of using chunky yarn (my favourite is the stylecraft special chunky) and I pair it with my 4.5mm hook. I have made some amigurumi using DK or even light cotton but chunky is my favourite as I love big bold pieces (nothing delicate about me!). I’m so pleased you’re finding the reviews helpful! I do a new one every month so hope to see you back for future reviews ❤️
