Hello, your channel was recommended by another blogger. I started watching today and I absolutely love your videos. Book reviews are awesome. Thank you!
@@starlightandstitches Wendy Stanbury channel. I bought Unicorns, dragons and more fantasy amigurumi after watching your review. Just couldn't resist it, the book is so gorgeous. Actually there is also part 2 of this book full of adorable projects.
These walk throughs are so helpful ❤ I haven't tried amigurumi yet but I'm feeling more confident I could do it. I recently made a rainbow that was pretty simple and satisfying (just a circle folded in half and stitched together)
That’s a great start! Once you get going it really does all start to make sense- I’d suggest following a RUclips tutorial first (something like ami amour) and the you can see someone doing it with you. You’ll have to let me know if you do!
hello thanks to your amigurumi tag video i found you and have been watching all your channel content they are so helpful i really want the monsters books now what yarn do you use and which hook size to make them so large i use DK for most of mine and a 2.75mm hook to stop the holes but they are all really small on my projects thankyou so much for being here i have subscribed i only started my channel 2 months ago so I'm still learning all about making the videos of my makes but these book reviews are great i love buying the books as much as collecting yarn and making things lol xxx
Hi!! It’s so lovely to have you here and thanks for your lovely comment! I am a big fan of using chunky yarn (my favourite is the stylecraft special chunky) and I pair it with my 4.5mm hook. I have made some amigurumi using DK or even light cotton but chunky is my favourite as I love big bold pieces (nothing delicate about me!). I’m so pleased you’re finding the reviews helpful! I do a new one every month so hope to see you back for future reviews ❤️
Hello, I have got both Monsters Book 😁 do you use the Invisible decrease for your Amigurumi when changing colours? 😁 you have a less of stair step from colour to colour 😋💜 Erica x
Your review is thorough, and I love that. It gives a very good idea about the patterns and the soul of the book. Thanks!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. The Amigurumi monsters are my favourite books 🥰
These walk through are very helpful. I love your Donk. You did a great job. Love the color that you used.
It was fairly easy to make that one!

It’s still one of my absolute favourites!! I wish they would make more!!

Hello, instead of using Dowling rods, I have used Garden sticks & Pipe Cleaners if they need to be posable 😋💕 Erica x
Loved your review! You might turn me to amigurumi yet, but I hate the sewing! 😂
I’m the same- it’s my least favourite bit!!
Another great review Alice. I own both of those books. I buy a lot of my crochet books on EBay as I get them a quite a bit cheaper.
Oohh I forget about eBay! Watch me go and drain my bank account now!! 😂
Very well explained Alice 🙂
Thank you Karen! 😊
