I found that sliding the caliper to the outside... then loosen the cable and bring the outer pad close to the rotor works too..but I'll try this method and see how it work.. since my calipers is a pain in the but to put back on

Great video, I just bought a Dualtron Mini and the salesman suggested I learn to change tires, tubes and brake pads.

My scooter, the back wheel keeps locking up and dragging on and off when riding. I have no idea how to identify or what to do to fix it, its a maxshot v1, and I have to have this scooter working..... it's my only transportation to work.
The brake you used to adjust while delivering food was mechanical? And you upgraded to hydraulic brake?
Yes I’ve been on mechanical brakes for over 15,000 miles this is going to be my first set of hydraulic brakes I’m excited.
I have a question and i hope you can answer it, btw i have DT3 sometimes when I suddenly hit the brake instantly there’s something rolling inside and i don’t know if it’s on the hub or something but it feels like slowly rolling and it will gone after you hit the throttle. Is it the Hub or the ABS?.
Honestly I’m not very mechanical myself and you would need to bring the scooter to somebody to diagnose it. Pretty hard to diagnose anything other than the simplest problems with these scooters. Good luck with it!
I moved the inner pad in to tighten the brakes. it seems to help, however whats strange in general is that braking is tighter when moving scooter backwards than forward. Any reason why? is this for riding on slopes ? i can imagine being on a hill
You should not tighten the brake pads that way because you’re gonna have uneven wear on your pads. I’m really not sure why the brakes would work better backwards that sounds strange. Yes you can definitely stop yourself from almost any speed and on hills. Maybe you should bring it to somebody that can help you.
Hi there iv just bought a dualtron Eagle Pro and not sure has it got Abs and regen braking,also would it be worth upgrading to hydrolic breaks and if so how much would these be thanks..
Yes I like hydraulic brakes I upgraded my ultras from mechanical.

I was bleeding and put new oil IN my dualtron but when brake it Comes smoke fro the brake . What is this i noticed it direktly

My scooter stop working, it says error R on the screen, my back wheel brakes no work , no light when I press brakes , it is reason why my scooter no moving?

how many miles between brake inspection and adjustments?
I replace my brake pads every thousand miles and I checked them regularly
My brakes start to work but then make a click noise and release its barely any pressure before it fails is there a fix for this? its a mechanical brake
It impossible for me to diagnose without seeing the vehicle. If you’re having trouble with it yourself try to find a local mechanic to help you. You could also post more questions on Reddit and Facebook and maybe you could be walked through it good luck!
