Hi is this piano a Yamaha P125? If it is what do you use to record because I’m trying to record myself too but I just can’t find a way. Thanks

Yes, it is. You have very precise information in the manual. Use midi cable to plug in the back of the piano and plug the usb part in your computer. Download and install the audio drivers for this piano, if you are on Windows. Select "line in" as your audio input on the computer. Use any recording software. You can also: use a cable that is midi to whatever charging port your phone has. Download yamaha smart pianist on Android or apple and plug you piano into your phone. The app will let you customize your piano sound and records it in midi file or normal audio file such as wav. You can export the ecordings only in dropbox, for you to download on another device afterwards.

@@ChanchoCapo but how did you create those notes to be falling on top like that, ik about seemusic, but how did you do it with synthesia? Can you pleaseeee make a tutorial. Thanks for replying

@@thecubingduck First of all, I do not use SeeMusic. I believe that synthesia is quite similar though, but without the fanciness. Everything is logical (basic 3 dimension and video editing). I thought myself how to do this kind of video editing, so can you. The only thing you need a tutorial for is how to use a video editing software. First, I need to MIDI record my piano while filming, put it into synthesia, and then I record my screen with the synthesia piece playing, put it in whatever video editing software you want, get rid of the gray background (to only see the falling notes), find the vanishing point of the "real life" recording, draw some lines according to the vanishing point and match the synthesia recording to the lines and the piano with a 3d adjustement tool for 2d planes (e.g., picutes etc.) in your video editing software. You may want to remove only the synthesia piano part of the recording (below the falling notes), do the 3d stuff and THEN remove the gray background with a color key, as it is going to be easier to match to the vanishing point lines. I gave you all ressources and necessary information. It's up to you now to learn how to use the programs, how to record your piano midi, etc. There's plenty of tutorials on the web and soft copy manuals. Good luck!
