- It is time to rank the top 20 soccer anime, or how some of us call it, football anime. This list contains the best of soccer anime, from the old but legendary series to the new style soccer anime with a crispy clean animation. After making videos about sport anime, I realized that there are too many amazing sports anime, that some categories, such as soccer anime, need a separate video. This video showcases the best soccer anime you can watch in 2024. So if you are a soccer fan (or football fan) you'll definitely find an anime that will capture your interest. Ao Ashi is boring because it's too realistic
Tsubasa remake is not like the old days. The old tsubasa is like dbz and shaman king in the beginning. They are down grading, better tech but worse quality.
True, the shaman king remake is not great. But the one I put into the video is still better than the newest Tsubasa remake!
Giant Killing is amazing especially for those who play football manager. Too bad it didn't get more seasons.

Personally Days, Giant Killing, Ao Ashi all clear Blue Lock as a Soccer/Football anime and its not even close. Blue Lock is closer to the category of Battle Shonen than it is Sports

I watched these from beginning to end. Hungry Heart should be remade and the story should continue.
Likewise, the ending of Area no Kishi doesn't even count as the finale.

Maybe at Inazuma should have showed a little from the matches or at least the first hissatus Deathzone God Hand and Fire Tornado. To show how good it is. From what u show and how u talked about it it's like a boring one with Kids.

The anime at 20-10 are on average not that great, but I put them there for people who have already seen the best ones

For the ones who play football (soccer), Ao Ashi has to be the best one. Blue lock is so good too, it really give u a great time watching it but Ao Ashi is too real. To me these two are the slam dunk/kuroko no basket of soccer.

All look mid execpt for ao ashi and blue lock and almost all of them are unrealistic good video though
Here are ones that I really enjoyed: Giant Killing (very realistic, more than blue lock and ao ashi and focused on managing players), Captain Tsubasa and Inazuma Eleven are not very realistic but they have hype but definitely would recommend to younger audience, Days is so good and very underrated also pretty realistic (lot more than blue lock and ao ashi), Knight in the Area also really good show and Clean Freak Aoyama Kun is so funny and also the soccer/football scenes are amazing. Give it a try!
