I was so mad when they didn’t give my street power for a while, but I understand almost everybody’s power went out, so the worker’s were under a lot of stress. No store had gas and the ones that did were packed. Hurricane Bryl wasn’t that bad for a cat 1, but it was one of the worst I’ve experienced :p

My power & a lot of houston, tx, sugarland, tx, stafford, tx & missouri city, tx are STILL in the dark; but many of us in the htown metro/greater metro did survive it 👍👍!! Gas stations, supermarkets, hotels & restaurants lucky enough to currently have power/generator power have VERY LONG wait times; BE PATIENT PEOPLE!!

No, there is a lot of wind and tornadoes. People are dying from this. I had a massive tree in my yard uproot and take out my power line. If the tree had fallen the other way it would have hit my house and I probably wouldn't be here.

Why are all the 'newscasters' pronouncing the hurricane "BARRELL", as if it is a garbage container???
It's pronounced Beryl, as in the man's name.
AND, when weather forecasters describe 'distance', they use the word "FURTHER". "FARTHER" IS USED WHEN DISTANCE IS DESCRIBED.
    NOT "FURTHER"....AS IN "FURTHERMORE".
    WE'RE DEALING WITH A TWO-YEAR-OLD MENTALITY.
