Duet however is one of the best Star Trek episodes I've ever seen. It really is a diamond in a.. ice cream bucket. Ice cream is not bad but you can only eat so much ice cream
The turbolift scene between Odo & Lwaxana was so sweet, honestly one of my favs. The way you cut it after "... my hair" just made it seem ridiculous 😂😂
Its actually pretty funny when you remember that Sisko would order for an entire planet to be effectively gassed killing anyone who wasn't a Cardassian
You could see the pain on Nana Visitor's face as she is being forced to hopscotch. She had to be wondering if she should fire her agent and quit the show.
Right after the two clips about people calling Bashir a good friend, I wish they had included that scene from "The Storyteller" (S1E13) where Bashir is sitting behind O'Brien in a runabout and Bashir asks him if he thinks he's annoying. O'Brien, in foreground and facing away from Bashir, gives a polite response but then rolls his eyes that reveals his true feelings. Not only is it a hilarious moment well executed by Colm Meaney and excellently framed by the camera, but it also serves as a launching point for what will become a great friendship despite the two being so vastly different.
Major larks true pepper. Let birds go further loose maybe. Shout easy play. Round the turbulent quick. Well, close the reverse harbor. Ankle try sound, reset gleaming. Dinner to bug. When? Complete strike limits victory frosted wake simple hesitation. Strike limits flame the dark true salt. Way link complete. Way link!
Actually, having Wallace Shawn over for dinner made for a pretty good movie, in "My Diner with Andre", but was potentially lethal in ," The Princess Bride"
Bashir, aka nice guy^TM. Convinced that the scene where Sisko shoots him was Sisko 600% done with his shit. On a side note, still trying to figure out how they got through the Allamaraine scene with such deadass expressions
"Nog... you're a good boy"
DAMN RIGHT HE IS
The scene of Garak putting his hands on Bashir's shoulders after they first meet, and the look on Bashir's face, is priceless.
Garak really, REALLY, wanted to tap that.
@@diggymgee Garak: He's turning 30 today!
Translation: Hello, daddy. ;)
Sex :)
"I don't know what emotion I'm feeling but I hope to god it isn't lust"
The best thing is that Garak's actor (Andrew Robinson) actually shipped it himself.
It's season 1, it's out of context for even DS9 fans lmao
Yeah I need to rewatch
😂

@@nian89 True, "Duet" is the best episode of S1 by far. Like, it's not even close, DS9 did not exactly hit the ground running.
I expected to see the scene of Sisko happily shouting "YOW!" on the beach when he relives meeting Jennifer when first meeting the Prophets...
me too lol
The turbolift scene between Odo & Lwaxana was so sweet, honestly one of my favs. The way you cut it after "... my hair" just made it seem ridiculous 😂😂
Even in context- these are so strange
Well yes but actually no
"Don't look at me that way, I'm perfectly normal!"... I'm dying! 🤣
1:00 let all watch this scene, then remember this is one of Star Trek Darkest Series.
From Hopscotch to Homicide: The Deep Space Nine story.
Somehow I knew the hopscotch scene would be here
It's the ultimate out-of-context clip there is XD
Its actually pretty funny when you remember that Sisko would order for an entire planet to be effectively gassed killing anyone who wasn't a Cardassian
Alamorain, count to three
ALLAMARAIINNNE!!!

That last clip is actually just really sweet
The doctor’s sarcasm is the highlight of the series
Lwaxana: 'I'd still hit it'
That's Lwaxana's answer to everything.

Jadzia's friendzoning is PAINFUL-
He had it coming. She warned him multiple times. I still feel for him, though.
He eventually got out of it though... just had to wait for her to die and take a new host...
Honestly he was such a creep at first with Jadzia. Like take a hint, will ya?
Only to be followed up by being friendzoned by Garak..........poor guy
"I know ways to keep you awake... better than Klingon Coffee"
Yes, sex, Julian, we know...
OMG I Completely forgot how "wacky" season one got compared to the later seasons, like I totally forgot about the hopscotch scene lmaooo
0:06 My brain when I eat cheese before bed
"don't look at me that way, I'm perfectly normal" had me on the floor haha
Just finished rewatching season 1 then this gets recommended to me, what are the odds lol
I clicked this to verifiy if the allamarine scene was included
I like that episode. It's silly and fun 🤷🏻♀️
@@raec2275 that episode along with the first Nagus episode made me drop the series for a year
the *amount* of gay panic in the scene where julian meets garak is immense

Lol it's glorious
Even the way Garak touches his shoulders is ***GAAAAAYYYY***
"Oh no he's hot-" - Julian, probably
idk why but 0:28 ABSOLUTELY KILLED ME
I think Sisko discovered Pink Floyd while he was on acid.
Honestly this makes DS9 seem a LOT more like Twin Peaks
That’s what this reminded me of!! Actually so true
the voles are not what they seem
