    You sayed at 7:07 you have copy and rename the file to magisk_patched.img but it was already named to that. do you say it by error ?

    • @ExplainingAndroid
      @ExplainingAndroid  3 года назад

      in newer versions of Magisk, the output filename is something like magisk_patched#######.img with the ###### things being random letters/numbers. so renaming it to a simple filename makes it easier to write out the commands

      the error you're getting sounds like a path issue. also make sure this file is in the same folder as your ADB and fastboot files as well

      once you're in an app and are using it, the UX has been great. even more when you compare it to other $150 phones I've used throughout the years

      the process would be exactly the same. unlock bootloader, download firmware, extract boot.img file, patch it with magisk manager, and hten flash it with fastboot.
      the only difference with this video, would be the firmware download page. but you can find the m2 firmware page on the same website. just make sure the MIUI version and build letters matches what is installed on your phone at the time

    • @sarwarinfo23759
      @sarwarinfo23759 3 года назад

      Without twrp root is dangerous. So without twrp root, is it called root? First u have to unlock botloader.then flash twrp.after flashing twrp, going to twrp same time and again flash orangfox or pitchblack recovery for permanent stable twrp. Then backup your current rom( this is very important for repairing custom rom roblem). Then flash magisk.zip. Now your device will able to flash many custom rom+custom kernel
