Tbh the “Akuma is Ryu’s father” Headcanon was so popular at the time (and I believe they implied it in some of the OVAs) so I don’t blame them.

One of the coolest details thats easy to miss is that every time Akuma "Kills" Chameleon, he loses one of the ninja's powers. Its most easily visible when Akuma Raging Demon's Chameleon when he's frozen, and he tries to ice clone immediately afterwards and it fails. Thats why at the end of the fight he's only able to use Scorpion's moveset.

This shit was the epitome of Nostalgia, fanfic , and a MUGEN fanatics wet dream when this came out. There was a channel that was making an MK vs SF game. They completed Chameleon, Scorpion, Ryu Shin Lvl 2 Akuma , and Reptile from the M2 Surviving video. Shit was raw, all the supers were true to the source material. Much simpler times back then.

I remembered that i saw these as a kid but i didn't knew english at that time (i'm not from USA), it was so cool, but now that i understand english and what they were saying this thing is EVEN BETTER! hahahaha Poor Akuma was really fighting for his life!

Ah those were the days. It was an amazing mini series. Lots of work went into it. The creator took a break from it. Tried to fully redo the series but I guess his heart wasnt into the task anymore. He stopped all production on his work.

Man this was a blast from the past. As ridiculous as MK vs SF was (I mean sex slave? really?), I remember finding the actual fight scenes extremely creative and genuinely entertaining. It also made me appreciate how fluid and weighty SFIII's sprite animations were. It must have taken this guy forever to animate all that.

Just noticed when they hold the proton gun, they are floating in mid air.
Lemme put it like this, I fucking WISH they implemented the ability to just do a deliberately slow fireball and turn that into a STAGE HAZARD for a bit. (Obviously downsides would be that enough fireballs would remove it, Banishing Flat would negate it but risks eating a BUNCH of hits as a trade off) Obviously it makes for mind games because suddenly that confidence you read the super right vanishes but it has the risk of 'Well now YOU'RE trapped' as the fireball will hurt you too if you make contact.
I know that there's no way to balance that shit out but it's just really neat.
Chameleon and Co was really after Akuma's cheeks..oh naah
Thanks for preserving this with chat. I somehow never saw these back in the day for all my time on NG but I'm glad to see them now. From an animation perspective the meshing of the sprites works VERY well. Hope this guy kept it up. Uh, and improved at writing. WHEW.

I remember these videos, they were really great in animation and over-the-top, but i never liked that most of them felt very one-sided or very badly written. However, i really liked the reference to animes of the time and i really wanted a crossover of MK and SF.
I toughthe original version flash/newgrounds version didn't have hat Sakura. The part were Ryu dodges all of Scorpion's Kusarigama attacks(or as Netherealm dubbed it Spear chain) is my fave or when Ryu shinshiruken scorpion's attempt to pull him over. Edit: I forgot about the slow-mo back flips and 3rd strike parries. I never saw Akuma versus reptile back in the day. I want to play Armed with Wings again.

Who would've thought 9 years later, Capcom would borrow from Proxicide's idea of Street Fighter V Akuma's Raging Demon but in 3D graphics. Check out 17:51 and compare it to a SFV Akuma Raging Demon Video. You will be shocked to realize how important Proxicides influence was to the Akuma's Raging Demon and this video back in the day still stands through the test of time.
