Flatwounds and muting. As a bass player I am just kinda like…. Duh? Great video none the less and I always enjoy watching someone just nerd out with a new setup concept. Your videos just always have an honest excitement about what you are presenting.
I always enjoy these 'Josh Only' videos. He presents things in a contemplative and engaging style that I find intriguing. The Monday Monologues are something I miss.
Jacks guitarcheology is an amazing shop and jack & his staff are great instrument repair technician and even better people. If you support small buisness they are a great option. They specialize in vintage dollar store guitars (Teisco, Kent, harmony, silvertone, ect.), rubber Bridge guitars, and lots of funky lawsuit guitars. Quality guitars with interesting stories.
Dude I absolutely LOVE your musical creativity and the groove of your guitar playing! Been watching you for ages but this one has a noteworthy uniqueness about it ! 🤟
Josh, thank you for all the videos - I don't know if it's said often enough but you're a kick ass guitarist in your own right, always inventive and interesting to hear.
I saw the thumbnail and thought this might be from Jack's Guitarcheology 😄🎸 such a nice guy, does great work and has great taste in guitars! Fab work showcasing the rubber bridge 😄
I am doing chores around the house today and have your videos going in the BG. Thank you for making great content JHS, this is just a great vibe rn and def adds some enjoyment to my day
Jack is an awesome guy and makes some great stuff. If you are ever in the Lebanon, Tn area you should make it a point to stop by his shop, right on the Square in Lebanon.
Tiktok peeps just out there using rubber bands.

I think Josh needs to put out a compilation album of all these jams.

The tone is "awful" and it sounds great for it. Very old and traditional sounding like it could be used in a Red Dead Redemption type game.
Thrust on Moore
sounds .. rubbery :)
all these comments and not one mention of Jeff Tweedy. He's been doing the rubber bridge thing for a while now... Glad to see it's catching on
Bro is out here doing a Breaking Benjamin tutorial.

I love the way that you mix up the finger picking, picking, and the subtle and more aggressive playing.
