Hi Stu,I’m doing a bit of a catch up once more, and I think you have struck gold with this tele,it sounds to me what I like to hear from a telecaster,as much as the tele pro butterscotch would be my choice for looks the green one sounds way better I think, you have got me guessing again what the new amp is 😂 I’m kinda hoping it’s a D R that I never got,but we shall see,ps I’ve not forgot our wee try out etc hope you can get it/them soon before the big bad weather sets in,will PM keep up the good work always a joy 🎸❤️🎸❤️
Hi Tosh... Just saw your private message and will get back to you later or tomorrow once I've got a bit more time to think. Yes the 'Greeny' ;-) has a fabulous tone and while the Blonde Pro is very good it's not on the same page. I do prefer the Blonde Blackguards myself (AKA - Roy Buchanan) but I knew the 50s twang would give me limitations for the music styles I'm working on. So far the bets are on that it's a Fender offering.... my lips are sealed... ;-) Take care Tosh, speak soon... best regards: Stu
Hi Allen... She sure is and if you do get to Scotland, you can find out for yourself... ;-) - In this Friday's video - it's got a wee surprise joining it from the 1950s... Regards: Stu
Many thanks Amin... I hope you also have a good weekend, I take it you are at a birthday party then... did they get a guitar for their birthday?.... Best regards: Stu
Great clean tones coming through that amp. Teleies and Strats have long been my favorite guitars. I’ve never had much to complain about with them, just some neutral kind of wishes. I love crazy colors. I am a long-distance runner, and I enjoy have shoes and shirts that are bright, for safety reasons, but also I just like the clashes of neon colors meeting neon colors. I do like the standard colors Teleies and Strats come in. Yet, sometimes I want a clash of colors. Is it a mood thing in me, I don’t know!?! My Tele is a natural wood color, and I like that. I do like the clash of different dark colors coming together. Your new Ibanez has a cool color scheme, kind of a marble like feel. Something way beyond me, but learning how to paint and finish guitars would be cool. As it relates to playing a Tele or Strat, my only complaint is that I find it lacks somewhat when I play in drop D or drop C tunings (there’s the heavy metal/metalcore part of me coming out again). I totally understand, Teleies aren’t really designed for drop C tunings (though it does ok). I used to play together with a Christian Brother for worship. He had a Caparison guitar. Their TAT design, through and through neck design was something different for me. I could feel the difference and angle right away. That design really plays well in a drop D or drop C tuning. My friend isn’t a metal guy, more like jazz and blues. We’d talk Joe Satraini (whom I liked) and Steve Vai (whom he liked), and both talk how we didn’t really care for Yngwie too much. I know that Caparison guitars are used by a lot of heavy music guys, though the company isn’t necessarily focused toward that, but that neck and body design feels really relaxed to me. Downside, they are expensive. I don’t play hymns in drop D though 😉
Hi Jasper - Yes the Bad Cat Black Cat valve amplifiers really do make various guitars sing. I had to look up to see what a 'Caparison' guitar was... ;-) ahhh... another shredder instrument... Lol... I'm going to have to get you interested in a nice old semi-acoustic in muted tones... ;-) Regards: Stu
Thanks for that HoneyBee-Dee - Yes... relic guitars are not everyone's 'cup-of-tea' but they are super comfortable to play and I don't need to worry about getting a ding... ;-) I'm mainly a Stratocaster guy but I think this Tele has just pushed its way to the top of my playing choices... regards: Stu

It seems we have a certain match on guitars and tone. I bet on a "FENDER Custom Princeton Reverb '68" for the mistery amp
Hi Stefano... thanks for chipping in... I see we have another vote for a Fender amplifier... ;-) any more takers...? Regards: Stu
This guitar is fantastic! I love teles so much.

WOW this is so cool. Not sure I 'approved' of custom relics, although I admit I am one myself ;-) but this is a beauty.

My money’s on a tonemaster deluxe reverb.
Hi Craig... how much was that you were thinking of putting up... ;-) Any more takers.... Regards: Stu
