My favorite Nick/Charlie kiss, and in this season there were many, was the one Nick gave to Charlie's forehead after Charlie promised to tell him if things ever got bad enough that he thought about self harm. It was the most pure, the most tender, and the most loving. It was like Nick was cradling Charlie's head in his hands and trying to help sooth and comfort Charlie's cruelly wounded mind with a healing kiss.
Beautifully acted.
You're not a pessimist for your read of the final scene! The look on Nick's face after he closes the door and the lyrics when he does... It's happy they have each other, but there is something foreboding and Nick is scared.
I’m glad they are saving the I love you for next season. Filming of season 3 began within the next few days, and is titled ‘Love’. If Alice wrote the episode close to the book, then it is going to be epic!!❤❤
The last song is actually sung by Wasia Project. Will Gao ( Tao ) is in the band. Thats his sister singing. Such a beautiful song. Filming of season 3 has started. I'm so excited 😁
That confession scene + the season 2 ending scene...oh gosh ... can someone just give kit and joe all the awards ?! I'm excited and scary for season 3, because everyone knows Charlie's arc in books 3/4 😭😭😭💔💔💔

I think the last song is meant to be foreboding - the words don't leave me - is Nick's worry for Charlie's mental state, or even Charlie's worry that his troubled mental health will be too much for Nick. A bittersweet ending - really setting us up for what's to come in season 3.
I love that we finally got some background on Tao and why he is so overprotective. After I saw this i immediately watched season 1 again with this new knowledge and you can really appreciate him more. He’s such a good friend.
Yeah, perspective on Tao after season 2 means you can appreciate why Charlie values him as a friend.

I think part of the reason Darcy didn't go to Tara's is the Tara's mom told them in the beginning of last episode that "no sleepover tonight", because her grandmother was visiting
I've seen this over 80 times - the last 8 minutes *always* makes me cry, no matter what 😢
I also related to Charlie in a specific scene of this ep ❤️🩹❤️🩹 this show is unreal. I can’t wait for season 3 🥹🫶🏻

Well, episode 8 of season 2 is really sweet yet heartbroken.. I mean... when I saw Darcy's home life... to see her being herself and her parents are not accepting until she should sleep outside broke me💔 but yeah, that's life

Season 2 was amazing. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I was wrong. Alice’s writing for this series is incredible. I too, relate to Charlie so much when it comes to mental health and the bullying to cutting himself. When I came out yrs ago to my super religious parents, they both completely disowned me and I was told they couldn’t never love someone as ‘sick’ as me and shipped me off to very strict and abusive conversion camp. Didn’t work..I’m still a homo 😊 Anyway as I got older I learned that family doesn’t necessarily mean blood related as my true friends became my family! They give me the unconditional love and support I never got growing up.
So sorry about your experiences with your birth family and really happy about your found family.

The first song is from babyqueen and specially for Nick Nelson and the last song your so pretty is from William Gao and his sister and Darcy's Mom is homophobic and racist and the last 8 minutes breaks me, I was a mess and I can't wait for the shower scene in season 3 😊 and did you see the lamp next to Charlie, when Nick open his eyes the light is on

I thought something bad was going to happen too! Like he gets jumped or like you said…an accident. I must watch too many shows that have traumatic endings 🙁
