Thanks so much for this. I watched the v3 recaptcha video and was still a bit confused as to how it prevents ppl/bots from using my contact form to spam my acct with their sales pitch. I've got it set up...so hopefully my not understanding HOW it works won't interfere with it working! BC the mail from my website is forwarded to another email acct I can't BLOCK it (bc it's coming from MY site). It hasn't been a horrid problem until the last week or so. I'm getting 10 bots a day! Was so glad this was so easy...but bc they aren't doing any of the picture or I'm not a robot things, I'm confused on how it works. BUT I'll just trust it does. Appreciate you walking me through this...saved me from calling a computer dude who would have charged me a lot of money for this! Please be safe, Dr Karen
Thank you for providing the link to the documentation in the description otherwise I would have typed it all manually because I couldn't find it on google. You are a lifesaver and great content.
You aren't just saving us time with this clear instructions but are a saviour. Setting this up basically cuts down spam form-fills is that correct? Do you recommend keeping captcha visible so people can solve it before submitting the form or keep it invisible - I just want to understand if it makes a difference. Thanks again for the video. Sharing it with people I know.
Thanks for the support! Yes, using Google reCAPTCHA will cut back on most spam on your contact forms. The user doesn't need to solve anything when using reCAPTCHA v3. Google uses AI to determine if the user is a bot or not.
Excellent video. Thank you very much. I am guessing this version doesn’t give you the photos to pick. It just checks the spam score ? Subbed. Keep up the grate work
@@WickyDesign You're welcome! Just subscribed. By the way, when i post the recaptcha code: This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. I can change the color of the font on Elementor but it doesn't allow me to change the color of the words "Privacy policy" and "Terms of Service". I have a feeling it has to do with some extra code to change the color of those words. Do you know what extra code needs to be added to change the colors of those two words? Thank you in advance!!
thanks for very simple clear tut. I have followed and hidden the reCAPTCHA icon. As you indicated this has added 'this site is protected by....' compliance text. I wonder is there a simple way to make this text smaller?
Thanks for the video. However, I am not sure how this protects from spam. I see no difference when submitting the form. The form did not prompt me to verify that I am a human.
Thanks. With Google reCAPTCHA v3 you won't see the robot prompt. It's all done with AI these days. If Google detects you might be a robot it will display the robot prompt. Check out this video I created that better explains how it all works: ruclips.net/video/vt4bFOjRUK0/видео.html
Thank you very much for this great tutorial. You're a life saver!
You're welcome!
The amount of time you just saved me of deleting 50 spam emails every day is just over the rooftop. Thank you very much!!
Thank a lot bro. No more spammers contacting our store anymore
Will try this today but I’ve already given it a thumbs up and saved it to a playlist. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the support! I believe it will show the photos to pick if Google thinks you might be a bot and wants to verify you're a human.
@@WickyDesign thank you for your reply. Is it worth using Elementor Huneycobm together with the Google Capture ?
It doesn't hurt to use the Honeypot with Google reCAPTCHA but I found that the Honeypot doesn't work that well against bots.
Excellent, thanks
Awesome tutorial. Thank you for that.

Thanks. You will need to use CSS to change the color of your hyperlinks.
Below is an example of using inline CSS for the terms hyperlink:

Thanks for watching! You can change the text size for the HTML elements under Style/Form/HTML Field.
thanks
Excellent video. It looks like we don't need those forms plugins if we have elementor?
Thanks! Correct, the Elementor forms can replace most form plugins. It has tons of features and settings built in.
Great video thanks
No problem 👍
perfect!
Thanks!
You bet!
If i have setup the recaptcha keys. Do i have to add the Recaptcha badge in the form? Is it reuired for this to work?
Yes, I believe that's how it activates the Recaptcha script in order for it to work.

Hi there! If you are doing this for a client, do you need to be logged into their google account, or can it be your own?
I highly recommend using the client's Google account because there are limits on the amount of API requests you have on each Google account.
is it possible to use other captcha provider
Not with the default Elementor contact form. You will need to use another plugin or add a custom HTML form.
Hi, Thanks for the video! I am getting a message saying "ERROR for site owner:
Invalid domain for site key". Why is this? Thank you
Thanks! You need to make sure the domain URL you entered in reCAPTCHA admin panel matches the domain URL exactly.
Hello, my recaptcha is saying that the key is not validation. What can i do ?
Hi, we added the captcha but still getting quite a few spam emails from what it seems russia. Any suggestions?
I recommend checking out this video (ruclips.net/video/vt4bFOjRUK0/видео.html). You can increase your Score Threshold to see if that helps.
Fantastic tutorial. Thank you!
Great tutorial!
Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
