I know I'd love to see more videos like this! I never knew that there was such a difference between wild bettas and domestic bettas! I thought they all looked similar or the same lol, I think it's odd that wild bettas aren't called the fancy ones because I've never seen such phenomenal colors on fancy bettas, especially those blue and red hues!

Hey frank. With hybrids can they be kept in high ph like 7.6? I saw your post on your site saying you did with no problems
This does seem rather high sadly 6.5 is really the max id reccomend

You said in your video that you don't sell this wild bettas, you are conserving them. But, now why are you selling them?
@@jaeric1361 Because these are not wild caught bettas and have been in captive breeding for 4-5 years so they're domesticated wild types. My conservation projects and my fish for sales is not connected in anyway as the conservation side only uses wild caught to breed for F1 and then re-release. Most the blue, green, copper fish in the videos are Crossbred to domestics from years of selective breeding.
I sell show grade established wild types only. Selling wild caught is strictly unethical and quality is very bad to even to consider selling haha
I see a lot of bettas here in the Philippines but nothing beat the ones you breed.
