I wasn’t even alive when this came out and was introduced to this by my dad in like 2002 and we played it together and it was some of the most fun i had gaming.
You always knew in the arcade that someone had just put 10p in a Bubble Bobble machine because it was always the loudest one playing this music out of is crispy crackly speaker hehhe. The machine was silent until money went in it! #nostalgia
I totally agree, when I remember arcades in the '80s, the Bubble Bobble theme is the first thing that comes to mind! Every arcade had one and it dominated all the others.
I've been played this game over a great piece of my childhood and ever loved this song. Is a very pretty song that remembers me lots of fun and happiness.
Questa gioco era in tantissimi bar in quegli anni, fra l'86 e i primi anni 90, e di solito ad un volume altissimo che la canzone la sentivi già dalla strada!
I still remember when I was a kid playing nintendo ds and always playing this little thing. Many years have passed but the fantastic memories between me and my father have remained😁
RobotwarsKing No actually, when you played the whole 100 levels they return into their normal state, which are two boys who were transformed in some dragons :D
Siempre que escucho esta canción me dan ganas de llorar por melancolía en solo recordar aquellos años donde llegaba a jugar por horas después de salir del colegio. Por lejos uno de los juegos que mas me marco en mi infancia.

I found out about this game at a comic con a couple of years back and because of how charming this game is and it being my first experience at a con this song has a special place in my heart!

Me: *quietly working at my desk* My brain: BUBBLE BOBBLE MUSIC out of nowhere!!! It's such a catchy earworm, this song still just randomly pops into my head sometimes.
Damn. This makes me pretty nostalgic. This is my first game and the one that got me interested in games overall. I used to play this on the ps1 with my aunt when I was 3. I still remember always struggling on stage 63 and the music.
when i was like 7 or something i used to be weirdly obsessed with this game and i adored the cute little characters. i’d even put shampoo in my mouth so that i’d blow bubbles in the shower, pretending to be the dragon from bubble bobble.
Me and my sister played the Nintendo DS version of the arcade game. We never understood the mechanics (we were like, 7 (me) and 4 (my sister) years old), but dang did we have quite a bubbly blast. Hearing this theme brought me nostalgic memories of me an my sister's time with the game. I believe I can live and die in peace.
Bubble Bobble changed my life. loved it as a kid, but lost it in my stupidity. Without it my mind slipped into and uncontrollable depression, with long bouts of dysentery and i lost my legs in a ghost attack. Just found it at a retro game store. Loving my life again. Thanks Bubble Bobble for turning my life around!!!
We had this arcade game in our small taxi office in 1987, all drivers would have a go and try to get top score. Sadly out of the 8 drivers who worked there it's only myself and the controller still alive. Very sad thinking back to those days :(
This music makes me want to eat hot dogs. When I was growing up there was a little fast food place a couple blocks from my apartment that had a Bubble Bobble cabinet. I would grab a hot dog and play this game. This is way back in the 80's. Great memories.
i have this game on my iphone 4 its great and really addictive. thanx for posting this. used to play it as a 5 year old on my brothers computer back whn windows didn't exist and it was only DOS format
well, I haven't heard this in 20 plus years but can still whistle it note for note!! good job to the composer, in 100 years this will probably be our generations Beethoven! (well, maybe not but that would be cool)
@Nox0verstreet I had this on the ZX Spectrum myself and it wasnt as good as it could and should have been but it was still very enjoyable. The whole game itself has so much nostalgia. Bubble Bobble Forever, well said mate!
This Game has Dragons! Bubblun (Me) and Bobblun must Breathe Bubbles!! I swear, if I Put the Playback Speed to 1.25x, a "HURRY UP!!" and Skel-Monsta will Happen!!
Someone used this as a theme in one of their more recent videos. I honestly had no clue it was from this game but now I got the theme stuck in my head! Thanks though :)
@1979mill You lucky duck =D You had arcade games on your neighborhood, I had to travel 70 miles at least to get to mine! =) It was well worth it though playing games like this one!
Un juego que marcó mi vida y fue el inicio de este hermoso hobbie que son los videojuegos, la música es tan perfectamente melancólica que hace querer regresar a esa niñez donde era muy muy feliz.
Saturday/sunday mornings I used to go over to my neighbor's, her brother had an Amiga 2000 which we used to play this brilliant game for hours. Never made it to lvl 100 though...

I can't get enough of it. It is such a classic, I love this game with a passion.
Miss this game..

This tune sounds just as good as it did 30 years ago when I was a kid playing this in the arcades
Allmoust better

One thing I miss about the old days, was the willingness to put out games as unrelentingly *cute* as this.
Miss these days :(
Now nearly every game is dark and gritty :(
So I guess y'all have missed an industrial fuckton of games, huh?

What's crazy is this is a tune I could never get tired of
Apart from a few sound effects from the demo screen that is. I still hear Bub bouncing on the bubbles and eating fruit.

Porque recordar es volver a vivir. A 33 años de distancia. Ojala se pudiera regresar el tiempo.
Gracias por estos maravillosos recuerdos
I've been played this game over a great piece of my childhood and ever loved this song. Is a very pretty song that remembers me lots of fun and happiness.
i love you

This is THE sound of family holidays to the sea side in the '80s, love it!
The only arcade in my region had a dedicated Bubble Bobble cabinet. The sound is so much better than the NES/Famicom version.
Oh my yes. The arcade version is better in every conceivable way.
Hawkye Narasumas
....NES version has more levels, technically...
That doesn't make it better.
Yeah the NES music was weak, even the Game Boy was better. The arcade version with its FM synth chimes is the best though 👍

Not often do I get emotional over music but, with this. I just can’t help it.
I'm sure you do that alot more than you stated
