I will just comment here about my recent experience before I actually realised that they had already started this Bovaer experiment. For about two/three months I had been having some stomach problems, gassy and needing to be near a bathroom. When travelling about we would stop for a drink at McDonalds. My partner always has black coffee but I always have a latte. The day of such visits I would later have these stomach issues and a couple of times I mentioned to my partner that there must be something wrong with the coffee as that would be the only thing we never prepared ourselves. This continued for a couple of weeks, with having a McD’s latte about once a week. Then I also started noticing I was having an issue after my home drinks and lattes. We usually used half fat milk (green top) from one of the main supermarkets, generally Tesco. My initial thought was maybe we had a bad batch of coffee pods but then all the news about Bovaer started to appear and I know that the milk is to blame for my stomach issues. It has since been announced that McDonalds use Bovaer milk and it was probably present in the milk I bought from the Supermarkets. How dare these companies use us as guinea pigs. I have immediately changed my milk to organic and, for the moment, my stomach issues have abated. The ironic thing is I had more gas and rushing to bathroom issues on the Bovaer milk so what is it doing to the poor cows? And in case someone is wondering if I have become allergic to milk, fortunately I had to have a full blood count in July last year and I had no issues with any allergies then. So at least I have that as evidence. I hope these companies, parroting the line that tampered-with-milk is perfectly safe, have lots of money because I for one look forward to suing them, for their malpractice and total disregard for human life. Where are the lawyers who stand with the people?
@janeburke147 And that is at the back of my mind too. I am hoping that the Soil Association is a little more honest about the products they allow to be described as organic but after what we have witnessed the last few years, yes I have my doubts too. Currently I seem to be fine on Organic but how long will the SA last out, if being offered some incentives to turn a blind eye? Maybe we all need to start having a cow in our back garden???
I have heard they have actually been using it since July last year. So we have been consuming it without any knowledge for some time. A full blood count FBC is usually to check for anaemia, it also looks at your white blood cell count and platlets too but is not used to detect food allergies, however, I'm also against Bovaer and being used as a guinea pig so I switched to organic too I'm not really sure that is trustworthy though.
@@yasmingeorge5173 Due to a certain condition I had developed, my blood was also tested for gluten intolerance and other common allergies which thankfully came back negative. I’m not 100% sure what all the other allergies were but I’m sure lactose would have been one? Any way, as this Bovaer ‘testing’ is being done with different companies and different areas (I surmise) I may have only come into contact with it three months or so ago. But what a cheek for Arla/Muller to take it upon themselves to just put additives into the food chain and not even bother to tell the consumers, until much later. Where is the FSA in all this? Very sinister in my mind. If they had nothing to hide why not be open about it and why so reluctant to label milks and derivatives which contain the Bovaer additives? 🤔👎

At the moment the floor of Thetford forest is covered in a brown mush, as the years bracken rots away , which it has done every year since time started . I wonder what gas it's been giving off .
Aye, and what about the thousands of volcanoes on land (and on the sea bed)that are blowing off gas? It’s unbelievable the stupidity of some humans who think cows are somehow hurting the planet by a perfectly normal activity. Bison, buffalo, wildebeest and other like animals that digest grass have been burping for millions of years and the planet has managed ok. It all just makes me so mad.
Me too, and they used to own sarsons and findus and many other companies. Whenever I saw the logo, I'd return the product for a refund. Not touched nestle since the 1990s. Horrid company unaliving babies. Probably fits well with their population reducing objectives.
NESTLE every product we make is safe and effective, no proof needed. We neither know nor do we care what the long term effects of additives in cow feed will be, so shut-up. I feel so reassured don't you?
What a pompous patronising response, what a vile company, I would not touch any nestle product even if they were free. Remember mad cow disease! Safe and effective feed remember.
I have been boycotting Nestlè for decades. And my professional association - I am a retired Health Visitor and Paediatric Nurse. Has also been encouraging members to boycott them as well. Nothing to do with BOAVAR but rather it’s agenda of giving free baby milk to tribal mothers in African counties. To hook them on the stuff and when their own milk dried up they were dependent on the tinned milk which they now had to pay for. Aside from the fact that they had to make up the milk with the only water available to them - usually dirty and contaminated. Thousands of babies died. Nestle had of course moved on to the 3rd world bec they had to stop advertising their 1st and 2nd milks to new mums in this country. Also Nestle buys up water supplies in poor areas and runs bottling plants there - charging the locals to drink the water theu used to get for free, or more or less. Nestle are a terrible corporation. Care ZERO for people and are just out to make a very large and quick Buck.

We are being told Bovaer is safe and it has been used in other countries for a while now with no issues. If that is the case why are they trialling it in the UK with just a few dairy farms and not rolling it out to all farms ? What is the purpose of the trial ? Why are they being cautious in the UK but not other countries ? Are they lying ? What are they worried about ?
I only found out yesterday they are using it´s been aproved in the EU since 2022, nobody knows about it here, I live in germany, I can´t find out which farms are involved or which companys.
@@nini4349 I would think it is the big dairy companies in EU/Germany that are using it. So that means the supermarkets and bigger stores probably have Bovaer milk, I don't know what the rules are for organic food in Germany, but here in UK no artificial food additives are allowed in the organic food chain so to avoid Bovaer we are drinking organic milk. You could try emailing the supermarkets in Germany and asking them if their milk is from Bovaer fed cattle. I know Arla are in Germany as are Müller of course so you could email them also.
@@DrRobinJones you´re right, Müller is a german company and you get Arla here to. The rules for organic milk are the same and the cows are not couped up inside all the time, I can´t remember quite how many days in a year. One has to find out not just about the milk. Cheese, cakes chocolade and so on.
@@nini4349 If the organic rules are the same as in the UK you should be ok consuming organic milk. I would email the company just to make sure. As for other dairy products you can eat organic cheese which should be safe but cakes and chocolate etc is more difficult because the manufacturer probably gets dairy products from multiple sources and therefore probably will contain Bovaer (unless of course you can get organic chocolate/cake etc which in the UK is quite difficult)
@@UncommonKnowledge587 I always preferred dark chocolate anyway and now it's the safest option. I won't eat Bournville though as it's Cadbury. Same goes for any with affiliated links so to speak.

So th8s includes all dairy, and all own brand products with dairy, pizzas, ready meals etc etc. Products with milk powder.... I asked morrisons if they could confirm whether it is only their milk. They replied that they couldn't say....
I can see this issue affecting the national economy eventually albeit maybe in a relatively small way. It's becoming apparent to me that we can no longer trust milk, cheese, chocolate, cakes and god knows what else. I'm prepared to accept in theory that the official 'expert' claims about Bovaer might be true, but I'm concerned that this was trialled on the public without consent for several months and also about the apparent lack of publicly accessable evidence. Many of us prefer our food as natural as possible, unadulterated and produced by non-factory farming methods. There's a lot of hoo-haa from various authorities about 'fake news' when they are plainly refusing to accept that customers have a right to their own preferences.
There's a video the American couple Doug & Stacey did about what chemicals are in this cow supplement and NONE of them are good for the bovine OR humans and are very toxic but when mixed SOMEHOW they become perfectly acceptable to give to cattle and ruminant animals !?!?! I myself will buy my milk etc direct from farmers who DO NOT feed this supplement mixed in with their cattle feed and are more grass and silage fed.
09:41 Thank you Rupert Lowe MP 717 • Al Overview Bovaer, a feed additive for cows and other ruminants, has some potential side effects, including: • Inhalation: 3-nitrooxypropanol (3-NOP), the active ingredient in Bovaer, can be harmful if inhaled. • Skin and eye irritation: 3-NOP can irritate the skin and eves • Mesenchymal cell hyperplasia and benign tumors: At higher doses, 3-NOP can cause mesenchymal cell hyperplasia and benign tumors in females. • • Male fertility and reproductive organs: 3-NOP may damage male fertility and reproductive organs.
Makes me wonder about the organic too 🤔
@janeburke147 And that is at the back of my mind too.

Won’t be buying anything from nestle or anything else bouvier is in.
That’s the problem finding out these things that hasn’t and if you don’t drive can be a nightmare so I’m thinking of getting acorn dairy to deliver milk, cheese and butter 👍🏻
Thank you for finding this information for ALL of us. The good news is that it’s another push for us to revert to whole foods and local producers. It may be a win win to eat healthier and cut out their garbage☺️
I dont want anything with bovaer in it. Its unfair adding this stuff to the cows feed.
@@Beautyaroundus2 it is inhumane, against nature and breaches their animal rights. 😾
@catevanscuisine yes totally unnatural. Cows eat grass roam pastures and produce decent milk. To mess with it is going to force people to choose alternative like organic
@Beautyaroundus2 did you hear about the lab-bred, methane-free calf (a female) in Dumfries & Galloway? Poor girl, look what happened to Dolly the Sheep. 😿 When I have time I will do a quick vlog about it.
My reply from Wensleydale creameries and Davidstow Cornish Cheddar cheese had the same reply, the government said it is safe.
Won't be buying that then!

There is or at least was a good vlog showing all the products that use bovaer milk, people need to note these and boycott them. People also need to spread the word.
Oh dear, no more Nestle products for me.
Simple avoid Nestle then.
So that's a YES, Nestle absolutely DO use the "safe and effective" Bovear. Boycott Nestle (To be fair, I was anyway)
Reduced c02 dangers to plants. Scotland cutting down millions of trees for windpower that really helps the CO2 levels NOT.
At least M&S are up front about their participation in this experiment
I boycotted them about 30 years ago and Cadburys 12 years ago .Kellogs and many many more 22 years ago.do your research.
Me too, and they used to own sarsons and findus and many other companies. Whenever I saw the logo, I'd return the product for a refund. Not touched nestle since the 1990s. Horrid company unaliving babies. Probably fits well with their population reducing objectives.
Thank you. It is good to know we can confidently give nestle a miss.
NESTLE every product we make is safe and effective, no proof needed. We neither know nor do we care what the long term effects of additives in cow feed will be, so shut-up. I feel so reassured don't you?
If they can't give you a definitive answer, then you should avoid all Nestlé products that contain dairy.

the only ‘difficulty’ involved is actually going to the bother of speaking up
What a pompous patronising response, what a vile company, I would not touch any nestle product even if they were free.
Spot on.
Many thanks for your interesting and very valid comments. Bless you and thank you for sharing your truths. xx
We have binned all the Nestle products today.. Thanks Cathrine..
Absolutely disgusting. Is there any companies that do not use bovaer?
I use St Helens farm goats 🐐 milk. I called them personally, and they do not use it. Tastes lovely, and they also do butter and yoghurt 😋
Should be ok with organic but check. Yeo valley apparently OK even though Arla owns it.
Yes, good ones I've found so far:
Farmfoods
Lancashire Farm
Longley Farm
McQueens Dairies
Shepherds Purse
Snowdonia cheese
Wykes Farm
@@maccagrabmeapparently it depends on which Yeo Valley product you buy. Some have the Arla connection, some don't.

methane breaks down very fast . how can cow's methane travel 20 miles up into the air and cause massive "climate" chaos ??? it breaks down very fast and falls to the ground .
It's a cover story. Bovaer shrinks the cow's reproductive organs- it's us they want to reduce.

Nestle are now on the 'Go woke, go broke, list.
So that means the supermarkets and bigger stores probably have Bovaer milk,
I don't know what the rules are for organic food in Germany, but here in UK no artificial food additives are allowed in the organic food chain so to avoid Bovaer we are drinking organic milk.
@@DrRobinJones :) looks like I´m doing more baking, I´m making my own butter anyway, maybe I can make my own cheese, back to the roots lol
