If you already have excellent SDR to HDR and upscaling in your TV, then this set-top-box is maybe not needed. But for all the hundreds of millions of TVs out there in the market now that don't have this technology, this is an upgrade for them as a set-top-box form? And also future TVs might include this chipset as a Mediatek Pentonic alternative? It depends which is best at doing it..

What is the point of this, if new TV 2025 will have Mediatek Pentonic 800 Chipset, which can do AI SDR to HDR and super resolution 2,0 as well...
