Not everybody is going out buying $700 losi monster trucks, some people just want to put down a little cash and play around what's something that's better than toy grade and repairable. I used to watch a guy's channel that did a similar thing with tiny drones. awesome job my guy!

I've got one of these and it's a beast. I clocked 80kph / 50mph on a 3s run with mine. Pure affordable madness. I will say that if you're going near soft ground or grass you probably want to throw a cheap set of the regular SCY16101 truck tires on it, the stock skinny tires aren't good for that kind of use.

Even the cheapest brushed SCY16101 variants are a lot of fun. They're slightly longer than the venerable hbx16889 which I believe makes them a little less twitchy and gives them a slightly larger battery tray. These have taken over for the hbx as my beginner RC recommendation.

@froshmasta yup I’ve seen the brushed Q130 in action. Stills wheelie machine. I agree these are probably a better value especially since you can get other variations like the speed car and the different body options.

How are your s2 upgrades for the Omni Terminator holding up? JW cause I just got s2 diff cups cause the stock got torn up but not sure if they will be any better
They definitely should be better. They held up through the video I posted last week which I think was four 3s packs. I haven’t had a chance to run it again yet, but just adjust your droop screws a little bit so the suspension sits just a tad bit lower and that should help some. The s2 parts should definitely outlast the stock, but I don’t know how much longer. Really depends on driving style and terrain. I would get the s2 axles at the same time as some people report the hardened s2 cups wear out the stock axles

Shows the upgrades I did on two other similar models. They would work for this, but I think some slightly longer shocks might be even better. Still need to figure which ones would be better, but that video may give you a good idea!

I think they’re so similar that you should just base it off what body style you like better.
Great review...scy and mjx are both great..but i like scy more right now...the durability,looks,performance are way up there...yes that green and orange scy 16th scale is amazing... stock motor gets pretty hot ,esc not at all, 2440 4500kv...uses a 18t pinion,but if motor mount is flipped over a 20t messes perfect...i have a 2845 6500kv i will be installing..can't wait!😊

My scy truggy with 2840 4000kv stays cool on 2s..but my sg918 gets a little hot..esc cool on that sg918.. would be great if scy offered a 45 amp esc upgrade that worked with the stock tx..but i have also seen rc crazy get 58.5 mph out of his truggy with a 2845 5900kv using stock 35 amp esc...can't wait...😊

The 1/12 seems to use the same chassis as the rlaarlo D12 and Wltoys buggies. The 1/10 is supposed to appear later this year. They even had a fan naming competition on chinese social media.

45mph is pretty fast for that scale and just a battery swap! The major thing I like about this one over the Hyper Go is the servo placement

It’s a great platform, but I was disappointed with this latest JJRC c8805. There is an issue with the front steering links- they use pivot balls in the links with screws VS just a pivot ball that is permanent/screwed in that you pop the link onto. You’ll understand if you check this VS the SCY versions. Anyways, it reduces front suspension travel by about 50%! For me, that’s a deal breaker and I will get the tried and true truggy version instead.
A couple other things that are downgraded on this one:
-The dog bones and CVDs are considerably thinner
-it doesn’t have the removable esc mount, so it’s harder to swap to aftermarket escs
-the bumper is way too stiff for a car of this size
They did fix the fragile body mounts which is a plus.
Also, they used some kind of glue instead of loctite

@Danielxperez14 nice 😆 not any more than I showed in that video. The slightly longer screws for the plastic chassis brace and a washer and but with loctite on top of the exposed one. The diff fluid, the shock bumpers, ya all that stuff, plus whatever upgrades you order. It’s a great car!

I just replayed it. I don’t see anything. I believe you’re seeing the reflection of the shop lights that are right above it. The battery wasn’t or isn’t wet.

Ya for whatever reason the purchase didn’t show up. A $12 sale came through from horizon the other day and a few bigger purchases earlier in the month so it’s still working. Dude you should be doing higher end stuff!! Your videos are better than these bangood specials you keep doing! Do some arrma GROMs if you want them to be smaller. I know you get them for free but idk maybe it's just me. Because I don't even look at these kinds of cars anymore. Unless they send em to me. They never seem to last long after the first couple rips. Also I get the parts reliability but when your just replacing it with another part that's exactly the same and is going to break again it's not even worth it.
I hear ya for sure. But it’s still hard to know what works best. This is my fastest growing video ever lol. Atleast in the short run. I’m trying keep it a mix of both but I absolutely plan on growing the higher end side too.
