I am quite sure that you are the only person who I can listen to tell me an entire movie and can have me riveted... and emotional. This is another PHENOMENAL, unique, and valuable presentation of astrology. THANK YOU.
Yes he is!!! Omg I usually nod off when people tell me the movies story plot etc. but not Christopher!! I could listen to him all day! ❤❤❤❤ thank you again for a stellar presentation!❤❤❤
A brilliant and fascinating analogy of Stella Dallas to the phases of the Moon when she's in Cancer and Capricorn, and the energetic effects of Saturn. Such an enjoyable storytelling! Thank you Christopher ❤
I don't think there is a soul on earth that could match the depth of analysis you bring to this movie. I haven't been moved to cry this much in years. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful storytelling genius Christopher 💐💐💐💐💐💐 Bravo! Bravo!
Thank you for your kind and encouraging words @hollyduggan8139. I really appreciate them. Stella Dallas is one of the great stories of all time and I am so happy that I could share it with you in the week's Astrology episode. 😊
Please never quit. You hold us spellbound. I look forward to each and every reading, you are amazing. Thank you. As always this was beautifully executed, you had us totally enchanted. I loved it.
We love you, Christopher! Yes to all the glowing comments you’ve already received. I want to add that I admire you for powering through with panache even though you’re “suffering” from a virus. You refuse to suffer but instead just keep on shining and sharing your gifts. Thank you! ♥️🙏🌟
I have always loved the film and reading the novel that it's based on brought it home even more. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the episode @KreativeKonnection. 😊
OMG..Great storytelling, Christopher. I’ll have to see the film sometime. This made me tear up too and makes me miss my mom who would have been about twelve years old when this movie came out. Thank you.🙏🏼🥰☀️🌎🌕🌟
amazing delineation, of course 😌 so telling about the way the sign of Cancer tends to operate. I recognize these story beats in a lot of lives of Cancer moon individuals but also Cancer Jupiter too. and the imagery of Stella as Diana, in the shadows- so new moon. the Moon is fully present and watching but invisible in the night. what a good story!
Love Barbara Stanwyk in that movie. I came across a woman on the Internet by the name of Stella Goldschlag who was born July 10, 1922 in Berlin, Germany. Her blonde beauty reminds me of Stella Dallas character. I have Venus in Cancer in the 4th house natal so I really 💕 your twist/story of this new moon. Christopher makes Astrology an lovely piece of Art🎨!😘
Oy vey I LOVED Stella Dallas and Barbara Stanwyck ubiquitous during the 50s for those dark movies. Not to mention your retellings of Lost Horizons and Babette's Feast among many other illustrative stories that helped me think of influences that we are going through. P.S. my mum was a holocaust survivor and an only child who needed a friend which was me (we are both Aquarius Sun, I am Cancer Rising). She died too soon in early 60s (I am older than she now) and this retelling has been so moving, she is in my thoughts always as I go through my own stages of life. i would take issue regarding that moment when childhood ends. I was embarrassed as an introverted child when my mum, Eva talked to everyone in the supermarket etc. I was eleven. But I became her. Indeed, for a while I lived her fears. My childhood ended really when my father developed Alzheimer's. Before that my dreams were vivid and I could fly in those dreams. Then they stopped. I wistfully look for those moments when out walking my dog and Eva must have had a strong Cancer influence in her chart because we share a love of the animal kingdom. Her apron pocket contained a gerbil/guinea pig etc. at all times not to mention the budgie, dogs and the baby raccoon who fell down the chimney one day named Petunia, don't ask Eva is my hero and although she hampered me by being very protective she was indeed trying to act as a friend and her loneliness is something I do share but she was gallant and took on life with courage.❤
What an AMAZING story! Thank you SO much for sharing @EvelynBaron. And I love the way you talk about your mother passing down who she is to you. I think this is a special bond - and also a very ***complicated bond*** - that can exist between mother and daughter via the symbolism of the Moon and I'm not sure exists with fathers and sons or even mothers and sons. I am so sorry to hear about your father having developed Alzheimer's and that coinciding with the end of your vivid dreaming. A compounded loss. Perhaps this could reappear again - like the Moon in a new phase - as writing? It's clear you have a talent for it. 😊
😪Cancer - being the innate, wild, nurturing element .v. Capricorn, as structure/task master, upholder of the societies, 'norms' and pressure to conform, which society places upon us, to which in this story, Stella Dallas must acquiesce to, in order to provide her daughter with success. Ultimately, In and of itself, a form of, 'nurturing'. Well, it made me cry anyway! Very thought provoking. 🙏
Christopher, you have a fabulous gift of bringing your stories to life capturing the emotional journey and bringing tears while weaving in the astrological revelance. Incredible! I look forward to your videos. Thank you!
It's my daughters birthday today, and she is 35 years old. I've been crying with so much recognition and poignant pain thinking of my own relationship to my mother, and hers to her mother, and ongoing. There's been such generational trauma passed through our mitochondrial line, and yet, now I know it is in a healing phase. Thank you, deep gratitude for your telling about our Luna Christopher.
I'm so glad that you enjoyed this episode @debbie-sacredmoving. The message of Stella Dallas is so powerful and I am so happy that it resonated with you. I'm even happier to learn that you are in a healing phase. Thanks for watching. 😊
I have never experienced listening to someone tell a story so well . What a skill you have to convert the astrology meaning into it. Thank you the journey was a way to learn about the moon cycle and cancer and a mothers love. Thank you Susan
Such beautiful storytelling with the astrological terminology seamlessly weaved in. The best way to learn! I cried so much. Thank you for sharing your art ❤
Christopher, you inspire me. You have the most intelligent and genuine gentle way of touching the world with your words, stories, wisdom, and deep knowledge that is just so incredibly infectious and inspiring. I love seeing your personality shine through your work as if I personally know you. As a Cancer Sun, Capricorn Moon, and Virgo Ascendant - using this analogy of Stella Dallas to describe the energies of the New Moon in Cancer in between the two Full Moons in Capricorn in such a brilliant storytelling way got me to the core of all my feels. Thank you for sharing yourself with us all. 🖤
I realize I’m just 3 weeks postpartum and am full of hormonal fluctuations and emotions but I am in tears listening to this story-your storytelling is unmatched and this example was a perfect illustration of the moon’s cycles! Wow. Profound. Bravo, Christopher! Do you teach storytelling by chance? This content is a masterpiece ❤
Hello Christopher! When I was a kid, I used to sit and watch these classic movies. Staying home from school sick. So now 50 years later, As I listen, to your recapitulation. I think back over the years and used to see these stories acted out by the actresses/actors working out their reality, like the parts of my soul projected onto my future self, now past. Could not help but get a tad misty eyed as I remember people I love/loved become these characters in their own tropes. My heart aches. Thanks!
These films really are our modern fairytales, myths, and parables. They are so rich with insight and I can't think of Astrology without them. Thank you SO MUCH for watching. 😊
Once again you have me in tears. I love your thoughtful and insightful telling of stories and describing so beautifully their archetypal characters. It brings astrology to life in a way no other does. Thank you!
Dearest Christopher, You tell a story like no other! 🎀 You are so talented and amazing, to behold and listen to, but you must know that. ❤ Thank you. ❤ Thank you for your beautiful storytelling. ❤ Love Always.
Christopher, This story has touched me and made me weep with tears of realization about my own motherhood, and the cycles I’ve experienced. Thank you for linking this new moon cycle with the tale of mothering and loss. May we continue to grow full again V
Great comment. Just finished watching this unusual brilliant as always explanation. I had to mother my own mum in different circs who was an only child and survived the holocaust while her father was murdered. She married my Dad for safety but was steadfast and he was a great dad and I adored them both. But she needed a best friend not a daughter. She died too soon and my photo of her is still something her surviving relatives kept, of her at age 7, all alone. I am haunted by this (Cancer Rising, moi), and she is always somehow in my thoughts as I grow old, in a very good way.
@@EvelynBaron I’m sorry for your loss, but love that you find inspiration from her story often 💜 I’m inspired by my grandmother, who raised three children alone after her husband passed at an early age. It’s amazing what we’re able to endure and keep moving forward, even if a part of us is left behind Thank you for sharing
Awe Christopher well done , your passion in telling a story is unique,There was only one other than you could make me see the people in the story was my Teacher at school she was amazing like you, brought the story to life, ,Thank you, It reminded me of another movie, Madam X watched it 3 times and cried every time ⚘
I remember watching this on television when I was a teenager. I thought how harsh society was toward anyone who was different. And how unacceptable differences are in the culture. While I cried it was really for all of us and how love in this triumphed with a great deal of pain. She was elated for her daughter for sure, but she went into the darkness for her. That sense of isolation was poignant missed with the joy. As always thank you for the wisdom.
omg Christopher, you are genius. I'm in tears. This has meant so much to me. My own mother was over dreased and I was shamed of her....and my step mother was sophisticated etc. Amazing for me. Thank you. I do love you xxx
I just love the way you make a story come alive. I can listen to you all day lol. Brilliant way to explain the phases of the moon wow. That way awesome. Thank you 😊
Thank your Christopher for the astro-tale magic and delivery. I feel so spell fulfilled in the story. May the summer campfires burn with such transformations. Much appreciation.
Christopher, that was simply amazing! Being a cancer with a Stellium in the 10th house with my son, my moon, my Mars and my Venus all together the mother daughter relationship is so very complex. This movie has so many levels to it! So many things that we can all relate to.I really appreciate all that you do and I love listening to your stories and wisdom

I'm bawling😢. So beautiful yet so sad. Thank you so much for your wonderful way of conveying astrology. You are such a gift. Fulfilment came full circle ❤
How can we listen to this captivating rendition of the book/movie and not be touched when the moon is in Cancer. Don’t make me cry at the gym Christopher! What a great insight into understanding the moon signs even better by looking at the new, full and square positions. Thanks for the great storytelling. I guess the moon is the story we make and tell ourselves based on our memories/reflections. Our experience of what happens.
I love these episodes of storytelling, history, and astrology. It really brings to life the cycles of the moon and understanding its relationship to the sun. One thing about the fulfillment vs. sacrifice of the mother, I wonder if Stella could have had a relationship with her daughter if she wasn’t so embroiled in her own sense of shame that kept her in the shadows. A sort of martyr but not able to heal her lack of self-worth as reflected by her husband and society. I imagine that Lauren will also feel a sense of abandonment from her mother and carry that into the next cycle. Still it was a riveting tale told by a master storyteller and teacher. Thank you, Christopher!
Wow the craftsmanship of the tale and metaphor is exquisite. Christopher you express effortlessly jewels and gold of treasure from your lips! What a treasure Bravo 🎉
❤😊I simply loved your interpretation of Stella.... Bravo Christopher stranding ovation. I truly love❤😊 your work Christopher. Thank you beyond words.....
Christopher, I would love for you to delve into the BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY - another deeply moving story that surely has to represent archetypes. Everyone would enjoy the telling of the story by you! you have the gift.
Thank you so much once again, Christopher! You are my favorite storyteller. I look forward to your deep and unique analysis and I’m never disappointed. Thank you for sharing your talent free on RUclips. God bless.
Barbara Stanwyk is one of my favorites (And you, Christopher!)….. I can’t believe I haven’t seen this movie but am definitely going to now! One of my favorites with her is “Sorry, wrong Number”. I absolutely love your presentations and the way you interpret and incorporate the different astrological themes and energies with fabulous movies, history, myths, personal stories, etc…… Thank you, always! ☺️
Christopher...Wow 🥹 Your storytelling, my goodness, the emotional scale I visit tuning into your stories. Being a daughter, a mother, and a Cappy Sun & Rising...this was beautiful, and relatable, and just wow. I even caught the additional rising sign depiction 🤗 Amazing, as always. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts with us all Christopher 🥰
Oh Christopher you made me cry with your beautiful story telling and your message 😭🤍🤍🤍 How wonderful we have you, truly one and only 🙏💖Thank you so much always x
Oh you had me in tears! Bravo Christopher for another story brought to life so beautifully in the name of astrology. I’m once again pulled into stories I never heard, movies I’ve never seen, and you brought it all with emotion and heart. Thank you, and happy new moon to you! 🥰❤️💫✨💫🌙❤️
Beautiful!!! Emotional & kept me hooked thruout. I am a natal Cancer moon gal, & my own (late) Mom was a Cancer. She wasn’t exactly "Stella", but I wished we were as close as Stella was w/ Lollie. It had me reflecting, (lol "lunar-like") and also realizing that those values, of one's societal standing vs one's emotional connections, is something that isn't as important as it once was. Ironically, my Mother's era (the 30's & 40's) DID have those values. She grew up poor but, so did my Dad. But her concerns & values & yes...even her insecurites about appearance, etc I thought were silly. I thought she was way too concerned about what "others think". But this story illustrates so much more than "superficialites". Very illuminating, thank you so much for your touching ways of storytelling too!!!
I'm so glad that you found this story illuminating. Social status was a big thing in the 30s and 40s and I daresay it still is. It just looks different. Thanks for watching. 😊
I love rhe JOY you clearly have in your truly UNIQUE approach to connect astrology and movies. Your powerful storytelling truly draws me in. Thank you for being you. ❤
Love Stella Dallas already, but your poignant presentation of it from an astrological view has given me a new appreciation for it. Plus I never read the book, so thank you for filling in some gaps in the story. Barbara Stanwyck is one of my favorites to watch. I so enjoy your story telling ❤
❤ Namaste Christopher, absolutely amazing, story telling as illustrated is a gods gift. I hope you continue to bring us these amazing pictures of the mind to life. This is your gift. I cherish these episodes when you bring in the wit and fabulous drama. All of my favorite presentation by you are these with movies and stories of the past. Thank you again. Namaste Roman 🎉🎉

Me, too!
You are such a great storyteller, Christopher!! Well done 👏
Well.. I found myself balling my eyes out. Love to the Mummas 🫶🏽
You are a National Treasure.
I love listening to you tell stories! Thank you!❤
Love Stella Dallas already, but your poignant presentation of it from an astrological view has given me a new appreciation for it. Plus I never read the book, so thank you for filling in some gaps in the story. Barbara Stanwyck is one of my favorites to watch. I so enjoy your story telling ❤
