A handful of shot recipes ideal for parties and entertaining! Only one that I WOULDN'T recommend is the Apocalypse Now, tequila and vermouth shouldn't be paired ;)
3 vodka shot recipes (Kamikaze shot recipe, Wet Pussy shot recipe, Lemon Drop recipe), 1 layered shot recipe and the Jager Bomb 'recipe'.
KAMIKAZE (makes 4+ shots)
60mL Vodka (2 oz)
22.5mL Triple Sec (¾ oz)
22.5mL Fresh Lime Juice (¾ oz)
WET PU$$Y (equal parts)
Vodka
Peach Liqueur
Cranberry Juice
squeeze of fresh lime
LEMON DROP
Vodka (plain or citrus flavoured, chilled)
sugar dipped lemon wedge
APOCALYPSE NOW (equal parts)
Tequila
Dry Vermouth
Baileys
Supposedly the tequila and vermouth are shaken and served with a Baileys float...BUUUUT by shaking the first two, it dilutes and thins the liquid - the Baileys is heavier so it sinks.. I call bulls**t Spruce Eats: www.thesprucee...

The mid-shake grin gets me every time.
I realised all bartenders do this, if unexperienced. They feel a bit weird while shaking, so they smile at the customer, its adorable, but not every customer likes it, so bartenders sometimes loose the habit :D

not a full list, but youll probably need:
whiskey (at least a bourbon and a rye - evan williams bonded and old overholt are good)
gin (beefeater is a great pick)
blanco tequila (espolon is good)
brandy (E&J XO is dirt cheap and good for mixing)
vodka (go cheap- sobieski and luksusowa are two good options)
white rum & spiced rum (i use havana club and capt. morgan private stock respectively)
orange liqueur of some kind (harlequin is relatively cheap and tastes similarly to grand marnier)
dry/white vermouth (dolin is good)
sweet/red vermouth
flavored brandy (pear, apricot, peach, etc)
kahlua
baileys
pernod
campari
amaretto
benedictine
jagermeister
sparkling wine in 375ml mini bottles (for french 75s or other cocktails topped with champagne)
fresh mint leaves
fresh squeezed lemon and lime juice
simple syrup
cranberry juice
orange juice
grapefruit juice
grenadine (pomegranate syrup)
heavy cream
angostura bitters
orange bitters
peychauds bitters
worcestershire sauce
tabasco (or other hot sauce)
tonic water
club soda
i recommend finding a few recipes that you personally enjoy to start with, and once you have a bar built up, you can go for the more obscure liqueurs!

We have a drink called submarine in Sweden where you put a shot of jäger in a glass of beer, that shit hits on a different level (the beer is usually over 5%). You can even do the submarine on land, a shot of beer in a glass of jäger

The Lemon drop reminds me of a shot we have in Austria called „haxnspreitzer“ which literally means legspreader.
First you put a teaspoon of sugar into your mouth and dont swallow, then a shot of wodka and again dont swallow. To finish it off you add a shot of lemon juice then swallow. The combination is pretty nice it kinda tastes like lemonade

I've never seen a Lemon Drop served like that in the States. We sugar the rim and put sweet & sour or fresh lemon in the glass with the vodka so you get all the flavors at the same time.

I tried the "Orgasm" coffee liquor shot from vol. 1 and it was really good!!

I love these videos! Here's a few suggestions if you decide to do more...
1. Chocolate Cake Shot- Equal parts vanilla vodka and Frangelico. Shake, pour, shoot, and follow it immediately with a sugared lemon wedge. The sugared lemon is what makes it taste like chocolate cake.
2. Chocolate Covered Pretzel Shot- Equal parts whipped cream vodka and Frangelico. Shake and pour, then add salt to your hand, take the shot, and lick the salt.
3. Green Tea Shot- 1 part Irish whiskey, 1 part Peach Schnapps, 1 part sour mix. Shake and pour then add a splash of Sprite and shoot back.
4. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shot- Equal parts Rumchata and cinnamon whiskey. Shake and pour into glass garnished with a cinnamon sugar rim, then take the shot.
5. Flaming Dr. Pepper Shot- 3 parts amaretto and 1 part 151 rum. Layer the 151 over the amaretto and light. Extinguish and drop into a pint glass with light beer, then drink.
Its funny how Steve had a face like he wanted to end himself when saying Wet Demonetization :D

Steve when I worked in a club we actively tried to come up with the worst mix for a shooter to give people who asked for a Barman's choice shooter. Mixing gin and Red heart rum is horrible but this needed more to make it look like a well constructed shooter. Start with lime and a cream at the bottom (this is to make sure you hold the shooter in your mouth for extra time while the curdle slides out the shot glass), fill the shooter with equal parts gin and dark rum and to top it off for skill points add bitters to the top.
Finish by watching their face.
In Germany we also call Jägerbomb Flying Hirsch (flying deer)
In my town in Baden-Württemberg (Southern Germany) we had a different kind of Jäger Bomb named „V8“.
It was 3 ounces of Jägermeister, one can of Red Bull and one ounce of lemon juice.
It was not considered as a long drink, one just spilled it.
There was another drink called „Nuclear Blast“, it was two ounces of Escorial, one ounce of Baileys layered and two ounces of the old Captain Morgan (73%) also layered. You can light it up and drink it with a straw.

I knew of 2 of these shots, and love learning knew recipes/methods. At the bar I work at, we make the lemon drop with a sugar rim, vodka with lemon juice, shaken and strained, and a lemon wedge.

Don't worry alcoholism kills about only half of it's users on it's own it's normally just a contributing cause.. Plus serious alcoholism looks nothing like this. A heavy duty really bad off person drinks an entire fifth or a handle a day if they are seriously addicted.
