    I guess its not easy to make fondant for all of these hives so this way is not bad too and does the same purpose, your bees looking great by the way

      Thank you! And yes I used to use hive alive fondant but have 40+ hives got a little pricey. I still love the hive alive product lines and bees seem to love it also! Hope your bees look good as well.

    I Do the same thing here in S. C. If bees dont need it they will bring it out the door when i put it on too early.
