not being up to speed on this sort of thing anymore, im curious about this kata. these comps are usually pretty strict about the versions and allow for a very minimal deviation. i saw MANY deviations from the goju version that im familiar with. that being said, she did a Marvelous job. her power, speed, timing, phrasing and grace are beyond exceptional. if she got bronze i wanna see who won this comp. this being my kata, i love seeing other versions. ive heard of a shotokan version (never seen it done) but ive see her do unsu if i recall correctly so that might be the answer.
+kaos izm nguyen beat rika 3.2 and it was not normal... nguyen didn t make the final so sanchez won...big fake world champion... the wkf championship takes place all two years so no world in 2011 and 2013. rika won in 2012 and retired after. the current world champion since 2014 is kyu shimizu. the next world championships will take place in linz austria this year

+Abby Knapp World championships 2010. Rika lost to Hoang Ngan Nguyen (Vietnam) in the semi-final. The other finalist was Yohana Sanchez (Venezuela).
