CLARIFICATION: €209 includes the quilt, compression bag, storage sack AND the sheet. You can buy the sheet separately for €40 if you damage the original or if you have an existing quilt that uses a No.3 YKK zip.
I frankensteined a similar system. The main quilt is wide enough that I can, if necessary, fit a whole second sleeping bag inside. It is for motorcycle camping though, so weight is not an issue. I think it is nice having the option to just use the zipped quilt as a blanket if it gets superhot and thusly being able to stick your feet out. Will have a closer look at that pillow cover solution. As it it attached only at the top, it might be possible that you can still shove your arm under the pillow (I tend to do that while sleeping on my side). But it still cannot slide off. Might copy that.
i do something similar with a Costco- black diamond down blanket …. they were awesome when they came out but they only lasted a year or two and never appeared again 😁 nice and informative video … thankyou👍
The best summer sleeping kit is a poncho liner or whoopie blanket that's light and warm you can buy dozens of them good the price of that and I use mine from early spring too mid to late autumn and don't get cold
I slept in this in 3 degrees C at night wrapped in Lixada emergency sleeping bag and in my clothes. It wasn' t the most pleasant sleep but it would be fine in 5 degrees C.
Unfortunately I am not that happy with @ROCKFRONT. I made a purchase early December. Payment was received on 10 Dec. I am awaiting that this order has been shipped. I have not heard anything back concerning my order being sent out to me.
I have the Rock Front 350 Pro with a Tcomfort / Tlimit rating of +4°C / -2°C, and I really enjoyed using it. Just a heads up, the sheet fits much better with full-size sleeping pads. I use it with a Nemo Tensor Long Wide pad, and it fits perfectly.
Nice sleep system Andy, thanks for the review. But that looks like an even nicer new tent in the background. Are we getting an Unna review soon? 🤞. Thanks J
Someone was selling a brand new Unna with Footprint on eBay for under £500. They even included a full set of Hilleberg sand / snow pegs (worth £93 alone). I’m a sucker for a bargain so snapped it up! I’ll be using it this autumn 👍
@@BackpackingUK Wow, thats a bargain! I just bought a Soulo and an Unna as I cant decided which one or which colour. I used the Soulo at the weekend and am deliberating on keeping the Unna. I think I’m keeping both!

It's nice to show something with unique features. For me, I like the way you can wriggle around without falling off the pad! Zips on both sides are great for regulating your temperature. It's a fair amount of money, but 870+ fill power hydrophobic down unfortunately comes at a price.
@@BackpackingUK Its a really cool design, I did find myself slipping off my mat a bit when pitching on slanted ground. I'm thinking this would be a great solution to that. I have however just got the rapide extra wide long haha
In your opinion Andy, do you think that other sleeping bags (my thermarest OHM) for example would be able to zip onto the sheet? Very interesting sheet design.
Possibly if they share the same size zip. It’s a YKK zip so you’d just need to know the number. The OHM is basically the same as this without the sheet.
So I'm confused, because their website says the sheet is INCLUDED with the blanket while you say they are a purchase of 209 plus 40 for the sheet SEPARATELY. So which is it Andy? Other than that, it does seem expensive for what it offers but I guess it's because of the down.
Is there any way to vent your feet whilst it’s zipped in to the sheet? Or can you only unzip from the top? I feel like it needs 4 zips instead of 2, so you can vent your foot end? Maybe it’s just me that gets hot feet!
So 510 g in total vs. 579 g for a Rab Neutrino 200 which is good down to 4 C.... Very interesting to see your review, but I think I'll stick to my Rab bag
This review isn’t about weight or warmth. It’s about freedom of movement and temperature regulation. For instance, the Neutrino is a massively restrictive mummy style sleeping bag whereas this set up allows you to experience the full width of your pad from top to bottom. I’ve personally got a Thermarest Hyperion too, which is equally restrictive as the Neutrino, but they don’t suit a lot of campers. However, they are both ultralight and compact.
I understand some people prefer a quilt, glad it works well for you. Personally I place a lot of store on simplicity. It's really good that there are people like you out there though to open my (and others) minds to new ideas. Keep up the excellent work Andy
Interesting Andy, looks like a compromised Zenbivy copy. No doubt they’ll be unhappy with the plagiarism but happy with the inferior features and quality. Keep up the great content 👍🏼

Don't you have to pay Import Duty and VAT on Top of that?

Finally someone spotted my favourite budget sleep system.!
Budget?? 😅
Wow 🤩 I love that. I could use it on my bed at home too during the summer.
Love it 🥰
We have done that too. I’ve also taken it on a caravan holiday too!
I love how your attached to your mat, I reckon I'd sleep 😴 better because of that

Good review. Thanks! Personally I'm using Cumulus sleeping bag.
Interesting system put id opt for the 350 version and get a bit more use out of it
The 350pro is supposed to be 3 season
Im 65 and kit gets better and better ..but..blimey its a bit out of my pensioners pocket ..good stuff though. And a good review .thank you

Mine was too small for a long-wide pad. I know they've recently updated the sheet, maybe they made it larger?
Considering getting this setup (with the Tensor Long Wide), does it get too hot if it's like 15°C outside? Or would you just open everything up then?
@@JeroenCoelen When it’s 15, I do not zip the quilt to a bed sheet and use the quilt as a regular blanket
I recommend the kelti bestie for summer 1.5lb 33 quid lasts forever

more sleep systems to consider now!

I’ll double check. I got it over a year ago so I may have forgotten it if comes with one or not 🤦🏻♂️
@@BackpackingUK Thanks for the swift reply mate. Their website says it does, hence my confusion. Could be they changed it in a years time then?

Both zips start at the bottom so you can only unzip from the top.
Really, really good review but, damn, it’s really, really expensive for what it is.
I'm a tall (193cm) stomach sleeper, would you think this quilt is too short for me?
I’d say too short.
@@BackpackingUK Thanks!
😊
Did you import to UK from Ukraine... May I ask what import fees you paid please
This is the older version of their sheet. They upgraded the sheet recently
I noticed the pillow compartment is different. Is there anything else?
A 30 quid kelty blanket will do the same job no feather leakage light and more damp proof
Nice one Andy
I would never ever buy a "summer sleeping system". That works perhaps for 2 weeks of the year. After that, its getting colder. Better safe than sorry
Lol I'm the opposite, summer sleep system is good about 45 weeks a year for me, I would never buy a winter sleep system
So what do use for rest of summer use a winter down sleeping bag yeah ok 🤣
@@gazza1858 No. For the rest of the "summer" I would use a 3 or 4 season bag. Hope this helps

Unfortunately the down used is not RDS certified🤥
200 is just too light for me. I use 400 in the summer. Decent set up though.
My Aegismax down sleeping bag is lighter at 475 grams and way way smaller.
But it won’t have the benefits of this system. It’s just a sleeping bag.
@@BackpackingUK fair enough, it works for me

It’s very different to the Zenbivy, I’ve got that too.
It’s not a zenbiy
Come on €250 for a sleeping bag 😂😂😂
Unfortunately, high fill power down is expensive. If this was a premium brand it’d be 50% more!
