Another day, another beautiful plane comes by. Man how I love these post 2nd ww jets. Their shape is so natural and gracious, so different from the seventies and eighties planes.
Now this kit will need some work to finish it off but hey….I’m sure you will be rewarded with the best looking MIG 15b on the planet. And with every piece you assemble on this plane, the bond will get better and better. And I’m sure, once you take it to the runway for the maiden, you will have the trembling fingers from excitement. Just like the first time 😀

it looks very much like the Starmax MiG-15 from 5-10 years ago. I had one and the matching f86. great flying planes
I just put one of this MiG together. I installed a Powerfun 70 mm EDF controlled by a 80A ESC powered by a 4 cell 4000mAh bat all the way forward on battery bay. Ready to fly weight is 1900g. Fan provides 1800g at 3000ft ASL,draining 68A at full power. Maiden will be next month, when I return from a trip..Or pehaps, I wait yours first....😎

I love the speed and look of jets but you guys are much better pilots than I am. When I am ready and good enough I want to get a few of them too. For now it's just single nitro/glow 2-stroke engine aircrafts with one propeller. You work up to the ducted fan jets and test your skills when you do.

I wonder becouse of the batterie place. Maybe 4S would be better for more flying time.
@@PetrincicBrosRC I would definitely go 6s but go for the longer thinner batteries like a Zeee 6s 5200mah 48.5mm x 50mm x 156mm long you have lots of options my friend 😉👍

Robert looks like a great bird. When you going to work on the runway and lay some asphalt or concrete to stop your moles wrecking your field? I’m working on a balsa Storch, plenty of time as we are in lockdown here in Sydney. Edit: what is the plane hanging up in your workshop? Looks fast.
We lease that place so we cant do nothing except mowing. But I did buy new geotextile to replace the old ruined carpet. And can you imagine I also have three balsa PNF planes to unbox and one of them is also Storch. That plane hanging is the big 6.5m Saphire glider. That will be for the last video on our channel.
Ahhh, my favorite jet of all time besides the A-10. Can’t wait to see this baby in the air.

Hi Robert, beautyfull plane, i have hobbyking's since 3 years and still flying stock, 4s 4000mah 40c Turnigy all back for the CG, 7 channels for speed brakes, fly beautyfull, power is just in stock setup, need long runway, if put the pods is more slow, but in the air is amazing... Waiting your maiden...
A really nice cheap plane that you should try is the Phoenix 2400, talking about a blast to fly, especially if you want to keep on flying for as long as you want to fly, especially if you like FPV in a plane
I really love the mig 15! Maybe my favorite jet of all time. This model looks nice, but no carbon rods in the wing or tail kinda worrys me! Its 300$ then 100$ shipping just for the kit! I do have a 70mm edf with 2300grams thrust on 6s laying around, so I might have to look into this bad boy!😃💯👍

Here in EU its 136€ and no shipping.
No it’s more !!! The jet in KIT is $295, plus’s $99, shipping. Then to finish building it will be another $180. Then if you do get it together and fly it , crash it, you can’t get parts. Would love to have a MiG-15 but not this one😩
