I bought my 73 TR6 brand new when I was a young 23 yr old deputy sheriff. I still have it and keep looking good. When I was married in 1981, I told my new wife that the car would always run. It still does and she likes going for drives in it.
Most of are like you...All we can do is wish we had the money to buy these wonderful cars..I had a 59'Healey and a 64'TR4 back in the day. Both cars cost me $2000 dollars.
I love the TR6, but was very interested in the green car that was behind the TR6 while it as in the garage. It looks like the front end of a Merlin Tiger. Could you let me know if that is a Tiger.
I hate to see the roof not being properly folded - it should not stand up like that - at rest the roof folds flat behind the seats - unless you open it without releasing many of the fasteners and the rear window zip.
I don't particularly like convertibles at all, BUT (and how's this for a paradox) I love convertibles with hard tops fitted..........Healey 3000, E-Type roadsters, even the humble MG Midget and Triumph Spitfires, all look fantastic when fitted with the hard top................I am currently saving (slowly) for my dream TR6 and it will definitely have a hard top fitted..ALL THE TIME!!...8-)
Love the Leyland commercial at the end. The cop is chasing the Spitfire on a bicycle. (haha) And there's a jaguar in the Jaguar!

This is hard to watch...he's gonna get holes in the top putting it down that way, and he's got the choke too far out.
