    I was wondering about geology for finding deep gold. Meters or hundreds of feet under the ground. What hints or Clue's to look for for that. Is there any equipment for deep ground gold or possible gold? Specifically places that have not been discovered or mined before.

    • @ChrisRalph
      @ChrisRalph  4 года назад

      Google geophysical exploration. The problem is that this is not something that the individual prospector could afford.

    • @danielpalmer8324
      @danielpalmer8324 4 года назад

      @@ChrisRalph okay geophysical exploration. Great start. Clear answer. Assuming money was not a problem on the methods used electromagnetic, magnetic, electric, gravimetric, seismic. Specifically hunting rare earth deposits not gas and not oil. Lol like gold, silver, or gem's or something similar. Using methods above what signatures should I be interested in. Like how you talk about ignoring the metal detector loud BEEEEEP's and listen for faint soft sounds that are repeatable. Like this but using the geophysical exploration methods and or that equipment equivalent. Thank you for straight simple answers your videos are pretty cool.

    • @danielpalmer8324
      @danielpalmer8324 4 года назад

      @@ChrisRalph so Should I look for hot springs near volcanoes? That should be good prospecting potential right? Then use geophysical exploration methods to see if anything interesting pop's up. If you agree what tell tell signs or signatures would be indicative of mineral deposits of various kinds?

    • @ChrisRalph
      @ChrisRalph  4 года назад +1

      Specific types of deposits respond to specific types of geophysical testing. Use Google and you will find there is plenty of information if you are willing to read and research. Normally active hot springs will have a potential for deposits down deep, but while the springs are active, often too hot to get in there.
