At the end he sang I love you in Chinese, then in Kazakh and then thanked the audience in Chinese. It was part of Episode 14 (in the 2018 season) which is done for charity.
What a cute reaction! The flute in the beginning is native to Kazakhstan and is called a Sybyzgy. The riffs he did are used throughout the Middle East but are also part of Kazakh culture. Dimash is trained in Western classical and pop styles to a degree not seen before but he has this rich tradition of Kazakh musical influences to draw from as well.

As you I just dived into The Singer 2018 and fall in love with Hua, Tengri, KZ Tandingan. Jessie J is an amazing singer and performer too that I really love so watching her was a must to me. At Singer 2019 you also have amazing singers, and for the second time Dimash was invited as a guest , like in 2018 with this song, he did a Queen Medley with the Super Vocals Boys that is also a must see 😊. Before you hop to Love is Like a Dream, you should stay with the Singer 2017 show and finish his performances there and then go to Love of Tired Swans and Love is Like a Dream. You have already seen Sinful Passion and maybe you should see his performance of SOS again at the Slavic Bazaar and then some of his performances at the Bastau Concert he had right after Singer. You will be so amazed and then you can go on to his more current performances and see how he has gotten better and better. You will certainly have to see Ogni Pietra (Dimash48 video) that he performed at his most recent concert in late June. So impressive and good. What you have seen so far is when he was 22-23 and he is now 25 and so much better. See you both again when the next video comes our way.

Dimash slowed down the music to create a more ballad-like version. It feels very intimate. Also, of course, as you saw, Dimash made the song his own with both Eastern and Western influences.

ahahah awesome reaction girls, I also can relate to his story since teaching English has always been my dream and I love it. That's why he's so great, many people can feel his honesty and sincerity and authenticity, he loves singing, he loves taking the audience on a journey and telling us stories with his voice, but also body movements, his stage presence is incredible, it's not something you can learn that easily, I think he is a natural :D As a child and a teenager he had a chance to watch other artists perform, he loves taking inspirations from other great musicians but he also puts his own twist to everything he does and makes it special. I've never ever in my life felt something so strong listening to other artists, he makes us laugh, cry, scream, jump, almost cry, he has everything a true artists should have.
