      That’s great now, but we’ll see how long it last once when Trump’s out of office. These corporations will play games if they can get away with it and pay people way less and get rid of jobs.

    Maybe a month ago a Trump advisor said Trump would waive the tariffs on current Mexico production until the US plant is up and running. That makes sense to me.

    Tk have you heard where the over flow from SHAP ( Sterling heights ) are being sent ?? I wonder why they won't or maybe they will put over flow from shap over at warren truck b c that would be able to bring back a second shift alone so it would be nice to see us all get back to work...
    That's great news but it hope it goes quicker to get us all back to work...

    CDJR is definitely going to split off, as it looks like Filosa will become CEO of Stellantis overall.

      Union demands will negate tariff savings, and quality will not improve.

    TK, SHAP is at its capacity limits…Realistic expectations is for the heavy duties to go back to WTAP where they belong…The relaunch of the 2500 and 3500 retooling is going to take least a year at best…they still have to tear out the old DS side of the bodyshop and paint shop…It’s going to take time…the real problem is Stellantis created this mess we now have too many underutilized plants that needs product allocations!!!

    Stellantis should be given an immediate order to bring backs jobs to US and stop outsourcing jobs outside US, otherwise pay tariffs. Heavy Duty Trucks hard to believe they will move them from Saltillo to US, the retooling will take over 18 months to do. They are not serious about it

    Okay, so considerably higher prices with exact same quality?
    That's how most things are that are 'made in usa'.
    Yay.

    • @Bayoucityconstruction

      Those are good jobs that feed Americans eventually all that money you say your saving is going to families in other countries.

    • @wantsanewvehicle
      @wantsanewvehicle Час назад

      @@Bayoucityconstruction Okay, but first I'm worried about feeding myself and my family.. that starts with money in my pocket. Let me buy something that cost $50, made in china or whatever. Or I can buy the exact same thing with the exact same quality (sometimes worse) with the words 'made in usa' stamped on it for $87.75. Yeah.. no thanks.
      Btw.. that money will still end up in other countries because our government likes to give it away to them.
