Wrist facing inside is very natural indeed as our reflexes reflect (sorry for a pun) a self-protection mechanism as to not your veins to be cut so you would bleed to death easily. It's coming from our lizard brain and nobody can beat 64 million years of evolution. In this regard, karate is very natural. Or what do I know.
