I love how thorough you guys are with working on the bike, so many shops refuse these older expresses but just like you said they are very easy to work on( have 2 so far and one needing major repairs) I’ll have to keep an eye out for your next express to buy, I loved seeing that mint urban express on the channel months ago ! Appreciate your work out there!
i knew about the HONDA express & moped, i went by my Frieds house & his sister still has her YAMAHA YAMAHOPPER from 1982 with only 267 miles on it. I ordered her a new carburetor to get it running again as it looks BRAND NEW.
I had the UK version of this bike back in the late 80's and I have to say guys, the one you have there looks better now than the one I had back then when it was a lot newer, lol. The word 'moped' is a mash up of the words motor and pedal. So as such this can't really be classed as a 'moped' as; although it's only 49cc's, it doesn't have pedals, so it should really be classed as a low capacity motorcycle. Here in the UK it has the same status as a motorcycle meaning you have to insure it. I think road tax and MOT is free because it's classed as a historic vehicle.
