And the drummer and bass player flammed the intro, and Suzanne stopped. Not the tightest and yeh the rhythm and groove is all wrong, the drummer didn't 'get' it. I think that then affects her singing, she doesn't sound comfortable here, compared to other versions. Maybe they did not have any rehearsal...

I have been around professional musicians for more than half my life and I don’t see any fundamental issue with this performance, actually it’s quite good except the VERY VERY beginning. Which could be caused by the drummer not able to hear the acoustics in his monitor and not able to determine the tempo especially when it’s the only instrument that leads the first 4 bars is the acoustic, Suzanne starts playing about 10-15 BPM faster than the original count-in and the drummer kept the original tempo. It happens all the time. The cadence, dynamic, tempo, vocal delivery and the overall feel is a little different from the studio version but that is what live is supposed to be. The band is solid. It’d be boring as all hell to keep playing the same song the same exact way and each musician will interpret it different.
Yes the band is awful - compare it with the studio version or the live Albert Hall gig. The beautiful chorus off-beat pushes are missing, the drummer's playing a horrible metronomic ride cymbal beat in places, no discernible guitar solo. No disrespect to a great artist and beautiful song but I'm hitting dislike because the band trashed it.
