I used to love television, disgusting movies, & violent music. The night I was saved, it was pretty late. When I woke up the next morning, everything I used to watch & listen to offended me. It's not like I had to make an effort or something, it's that the new man I had become found my old entertainment repulsive. I started to watch sermons & listen to the songs of Zion. Glory to God!
It’s wonderful to hear of stories like yours. I had a very very similar experience myself just barely more than 6 months ago. My entire life changed almost overnight once I finally accepted the gift God has for us and saved. As a sinful fallen man I still continue to struggle with a very few issues but having the Holy Spirit inside makes it possible to finally defeat sin. I pray to the Lord every day throughout the day for Him to continue leading me and giving me the discernment I need to make it through all this. Hallelujah to the Lord Jesus Christ!

I was taught you can sin and sin and some man in a booth will forgive you. When Lord Jesus Christ forgave me and saved me, my whole life changed. I’m so thankful to Christ!

To many modern day preachers are afraid to preach the whole truth of God's word, they are afraid that people will be offended but of people are offended it's only because the Holy Spirit is convicting their hearts of sin and making them aware that they are born a sinner and need a Savior, which is Christ Jesus.

So blessed I woke up this morning and was feeling negative and have been the last three days I ask God to show me the way and I heard a loud preaching and it was my brother lawson bringing the word of God and it was a battle for the mind man that's not a coincidence. The REAL word has made ALL the difference in my life, I was so happy to find your sermons, they are set apart from the rest because they match what the KJBible says. I have been seeking out 'real' sermons for encouragement in my service to The Lord but people must know 'the word of God' has to be our SOURCE and sermons etc are to support our walk with God...so many of us (myself included) have made the mistake of allowing sermons to 'come in place of'...Pastor Lawson said it best-we MUST read our Bibles, it is the only way to know Jesus and the way he reveals himself to us and speaks to us what we need to be wary of and need to work on in ourselves to be more Christ like. encouragement and wisdom in sermons is part of the support system, but a messenger is not there to replace the source-only to enhance it!

"Quote the word of God to him." Pastor Lawson this message was not as complex as others yet it was filled with jewels. It was eye opening when you stated that Jesus just quoted the word of God to Satan. He did not say that he was the son of God, he just used God's word on him. I love the sermon. Please pray for me! I am battling smoking cigarettes, and I know God doesn't want me destroying my body with them!! I've been smoking for 26 years...it's no easy thing to let go of!! I hate it though, and I hate doing it!!! I'm going to get some patches and pray daily and often that God will take the desire from me!!! As for stupid thoughts that pop into my head...that's the sinful body I still drag around with me, but the only thing I can do is repent of any thought or deed that is not of God and ask Him to bridle my thoughts and tongue! I love God, and I love what He is doing with me! The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge in Proverbs 1:7 and fools despise wisdom and instruction.
CC T I will pray! I smoked for probably over 30 years before I quit..the majority of those years after I became a Christian. Some things God takes right away..some things take longer. Keep fighting!
God helped me stop smoking after 22+ years and after the first 24-48 it was pretty easy. I used Gods word and read out loud every-time I felt temped or the urge to smoke. I had to push through that lie (the veil, I called it) that I wasn't strong enough to quit. But God delivered me from it, and I know He will do the same for you. God bless💕

It was eye opening when you stated that Jesus just quoted the word of God to Satan. He did not say that he was the son of God, he just used God's word on him. I love the sermon. And yes we must spend time with our sword. Thank you for being such a faithful minister. Be blessed.

Please pray for me! I am battling smoking cigarettes, and I know God doesn't want me destroying my body with them!! I've been smoking for 26 years...it's no easy thing to let go of!! I hate it though, and I hate doing it!!! I'm going to get some patches and pray daily and often that God will take the desire from me!!! As for stupid thoughts that pop into my head...that's the sinful body I still drag around with me, but the only thing I can do is repent of any thought or deed that is not of God and ask Him to bridle my thoughts and tongue! I love God, and I love what He is doing with me! The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge in Proverbs 1:7 and fools despise wisdom and instruction.
CC T I will pray! I smoked for probably over 30 years before I quit..the majority of those years after I became a Christian. Some things God takes right away..some things take longer. Keep fighting!
God helped me stop smoking after 22+ years and after the first 24-48 it was pretty easy. I used Gods word and read out loud every-time I felt temped or the urge to smoke. I had to push through that lie (the veil, I called it) that I wasn't strong enough to quit. But God delivered me from it, and I know He will do the same for you. God bless💕
